The launch has been fantastic, one of the best in WoWs history as far as I am concerned. Ive had 0 issues outside of random dcs (about 4 of them since launch). Hard to believe how seamless the transition to Northrend was with not even a crash on the boat. You should have been there!

I mean I would take the transfer if they offered it to even one single realm that had a population over a thousand. So far the options for my server have been to servers with less than 1k. Most of them have less than 500.
Keep in mind I picked this server because my original was deleted and I wanted a place I didn’t need to transfer off in 3 months. Seems pretty bogus to me
Well that’s the option you are being given. Being a jerk to other players isn’t going to change that. Either accept it or unsub.

Explain to me how discussing something is being a jerk? The only person I’ve gone out of my way to be a jerk to is the one who was a jerk to me first and called me stupid. I want to know how even discussing this makes me a jerk.
Honestly everyone here is just proving my point. You guys are fine with this “solution” until it affects you. And if it truly is the player bases fault then we should pay the price. So either admit blizzard is wrong or you are a HUGE hypocrite for expecting me to take that solution.

There are several decent sized servers that are not mega servers.
Ok so explain how it’s my fault I picked a “mega server” before that word was even uttered. If I had hindsight I probably would have chose another one. But blizzard doesn’t release information in real time about their server populations. So that leaves us players to find out from third party sites an ESTIMATE of how many is on which servers.
Are you seeing how this solution was stupid yet?
If they had been forthcoming always with server populations and public with the information I would have picked something else. As many players would have.
So stop saying it’s not blizzards fault. Either you are ok with deleting it all and fresh starting the whole game or you are a hypocrite that can’t just accept blizzard really screwed up
Actually it does. Digital space still requires room on a physical server to operate
It’s not, and frankly I’m generally sympathetic to the plight, especially considering the servers you can transfer to are now themselves congested
But your attitude and passive-aggressiveness toward anyone that has even the slightest different opinion than you, compounded with frankly the most asinine “solution” I’ve ever heard makes it difficult to want to sympathize with you specifically

What an ignorant post, Transferring to a larger server when Blizzard kills off your current one is NOT a poor decision, this whole thing is a mess from Blizzard and they could easily fix it but choose not to. not sure why you’d simp for a multi-billion dollar company like that

Pre-emptively calling people with a different opinion than yours a simp is, in fact, being a jerk.
It’s not the players’ fault, at least not entirely, but that doesn’t change the reality. The only option you are going to get is the one they have already offered you. Does it suck? Absolutely. That doesn’t change anything.
You can’t really blame people for getting aggressive with these blizzard simps. These guys always start the hostility towards players so it’s time to throw that back at them. Yes if you disagree with me on this I’ll consider you a lesser person, because you are at this point if you’re siding with blizzard.

It was Blizzard’s fault for implementing transfers as a service (free or paid). It was the players’ fault for accepting transfers as a viable option. It takes two to tango; both are at fault.

Just for the sheer entertainment value, I really want to know how this is 100% Blizzard fault. Not trolling and genuinely curious.
They sat on their hands hoping other people would leave so they wouldnt have to and now that not enough transferred off to alleviate the queue times they now fallback to blaming Blizzard instead of being accountable for their own poor decision making
