Baine is very young though, if I recall in WC3 he was barely a teenager when we went in to rescue him, and he’s probably around early 20s now. About 5 years difference I’d guess?

I have ejected people from roleplaying groups before for trying to argue “Age of consent” in order to justify letting them stay to creep on child characters.
I will throw down hard on this subject.

I can’t actually find anything verifying that Baine is even close to Anduin’s age (18 as of BFA, which I can concede). But like… I can’t really back off the idea that the age disparity is still uncomfortable.

That’s fair enough, I guess I’ve always thought of Baine around 19-20 based on everything we know about him. He’s characterized as having been too young when he lost Cairne, Hamuul considers him inexperienced and earnest if a bit foolish, Garrosh mocks him as childish. He just seems to be in the same age group as Anduin.
Baine is somewhere around his late 20s to early 30s, at least going by the unoffical timeline.
Garrosh mocked his ideals as being childish since Garrosh is well Garrosh.
