So apparently the players dedicated to defending the Horde’s moral fiber and opposing the Sylvanas’ regime will have to work with the Alliance.

Pretty disappointing. I don’t want world peace. I don’t want to team up with the Alliance. I just want to wage war while championing a conventional sense of ethics.

Why can’t I just conquer the Alliance’s lands and promise them their children will be safe?

Why are Jaina and the alliance there? It’s as if she’s learned nothing :woman_facepalming:

You act like we didn’t all see this coming.

Well now I have a chance to officially complain about it.

Honor and the Horde is an oxymoron these days anyway

From what we’ve seen so far, sounds like this scenario will manage to piss off both the Honor Horde fans AND the Sylvanas Horde fans.

lol, Blizzard you’ve done it again

That’d be a pretty wild set-up if the plan was for Baine to take the bait and rescue Derek so that Jaina would be guilted into infiltrating horde territory and lured into a trap, but the whole ambush thing didn’t work out so well last time Sylvanas tried it in Undercity.

But meh. Can’t make up for the prepatch.

And I’m sure Alliance players won’t enjoy it either.

Yeah, I know I’m likely in the minority here, but I do not mind working with the Alliance if it means getting rid of Sylvanas. I can’t stand her. To put me even further in the minority, I really wouldn’t mind peace between the factions too. Especially if it eventually means I could play my Alliance druid in my main (Horde) guild.

Have we enjoyed anything this expansion?

Cause you’re horde. That’s not allowed.
Oh and if you do spare the kids you have to kill the parent in front of them, in the most painful way possible. It’s in that rule book. “Orcish honor”

Baine helped Jaina and the Alliance. It was obvious that this would happen.

The story only gets worse.
Honor Horde is being portrayed as weak.

At least the Horde and Alliance unexpectedly meet up. It’s not like Saurfang and Thrall went to the Alliance for help.

A big problem I think is WoW is not a good medium for political scheming and strategic planning.

For the Alliance it would in theory make sense to break Baine out for many reasons to help their war effort. (An enemy civil war? Yes please) But they are just doing it out of the goodness of their heart.

If they force me to kill Sunreavers I’m done with this game.

If it makes you feel any better (Or worse), Sylvanas supporters have to do the exact same thing.

If this doesn’t change then I’m quitting this game for good. My sub is already canceled.

100% this.

I’m going to go ahead and raise the chances of the Burning of Teldrassil being swept under the rug to 90%, up from 70%.

Don’t ask me where I got those numbers. Just roll with it.
