Everything you said is s farfetched lol

hmm, someone is not telling the truth here imho sure there is two sides to every story and we can see through most falsehoods. In the last couple of years the company has lay off workers to restructure and then not hiring them back, that makes me wonder if they were trying to rid them of the problem of the employee than the situation with the bosses. Sounds like cover up to me.

The line about their workforce being ~ 20% women ? Not sure which line you are referring to … can you quote it ?

What the state are asking for is their the prayer for relief at the end of the initial complaint document of the lawsuit , on page 28

To sum up the state is seeking

  • Compensatory damages
  • Punitive damages
  • Unpaid wages and other remedies/penalites under the Equal Pay Act
  • Injunctive Relief (aka an official stop on certain activities)
  • Declaratory Relief (like Injunctive relief but more wide reaching)
  • Equitable relief (backpay , lost wages and wage adjustments etc etc)
  • Prejudgement interest
  • Attorney’s fees and costs to the DFEH

Given the general frat boy atmosphere of the country at large, I’m inclined to give the accusers the benefit of the doubt. There is clearly something rotten in the state of Blizzard - the question is how far that rot goes.

Those companies have a lot deeper pockets than Blizzard, I imagine.

That’s a post by someone saying they are one, at least.

Blizzard’s response should have been brief.

I can’t believe that response gained the approval of their legal team.

To be fair, it’s a lawyered response to the lawyers working for california, so is this unusual?

They voted for the politicians who appointed the heads of those agencies.
You don’t get to be “hyper progressive” and then be mad when progressive politicians appoint progressive agency heads who then hold you to progressive standards.

Maybe move BlizzHQ to Russia. I hear they have naughty slapping contests etc.

Those slapping competitions are freaking brutal.

Getting some of those fun ‘fake election’ vibes from last year, looking at this.

Should be a fun case.

You can’t REALLY believe that, can you? You DO know that “apolitical” means “without politics,” right? If they want to keep their jobs, they’ll follow whatever political bias their supervisors, managers, and directors have. And that’s not just in the state of California … that’s in EVERY state, and even in the federal government. Can you guess why the “apolitical” Supreme Court of the United States is referred to as a “conservative” or “liberal” court from time-to-time?

Harass women in my Texas? You’ll get shot. Not sure what ward you’ve been to here.

No, it’s not. Pick up any newspaper, magazine, or visit any media’s website. Convictions take place in the court of public opinion. By the time a case actually makes it into a criminal or civil court, someone has already been found guilty and the screams for “Madam Guillotine” have risen to ear-shattering levels.

They set the standard with Quinton Flynn and Swifty, so I see no harm in holding them to it.

I believe they call this ‘karma’.

Applying a standard practice is consistency not karma?
