Did you read the 29 page lawsuit? I did. It seems pretty solid.

Most people here wont even read half that.

Not til it’s proven in court they’re not.

Do you not understand how the legal system in the US works?

It’s in the understanding that a few obviously guilty people going free is greater than putting innocent people in prison on false charges.

Unfortunately, when it comes to women, people forget how the law works.

Well the complaint did misspell “Cosby” “Crosby”

I still doubt it’ll happen.

Google couldn’t be toppled.
Facebook couldn’t be toppled.

It doubt it’ll happen.

It is if the evidence so far is overwhelmingly against them. Such as if I’m in a murder case and I clearly killed the victim on camera, easily indentified, ext.

Then you go to court and it’s proven there.

No one goes directly to prison for life for killing someone without a day in court.

Thats the part you’re skipping.

Burn the guilty, but let’s not condemn a whole company.

These things are being rooted out all over modern day enterprises, as they should be. But you can save the pitchforks and torches for those who are found guilty. The forums practically salivating over the news of “Blizzard did bad!” regardless of what it is, and they probably don’t even care about the victims.

It’s a very interesting read.

Except that Google is currently trading at $2550 USD and FB at $346USD. That’s a fair bit more stable than $91USD and falling which is where ATVI is currently sitting.

Wrong. That would depend on what exactly they did and what country.

I read it all. I suspect my take on the situation is going to be different than some other people’s. Especially Line 7, on Page 3. Makes me wonder what the state’s idea of a remedy is. Some people just want blood, and don’t give two damns for who is innocent or guilty.

After all, if they can lie to ensure their ‘truth’ was the only accepted narrative, all the better.

I think Blizzard handled themselves appropriately. Won’t be enough for people who are hoping to see them fall though. It never is. If Blizzard is innocent, may they prevail and then purge all people that tried this on them. If they are guilty, may they reap a just reward for their inequities.

Oh Please, even if every allegation in that complaint is true they will pay a fine and walk away because this is america and corporations rule this country.

Fun fact, literally anyone can be a lawyer. You have the option of defending yourself. Hell, if you want your cousin vinny to help out, it’s all good.

If I had to guess, a little of both.

Seems like it might be mountain of BS on top of a small pile of truth.

The complaint read more like a press release, wouldn’t be surprised if it was a very clumsy shakedown and they just got their bluff called. Not like government corruption never happens.

Well it did happen to Avenetti recently. Could be a similar shake-down attempt. A lot of the wording read like “Pay us for this to go away or we’ll go to jury trial.” but even then the wordage makes it clear they’d probably be crucified by a jury outside of Sacramento or San Francisco.

Blizzard might consider a full move to Texas or another rural state. California is the worst these days, and their Code Enforcement Divisions are among some of the most corrupt.

Nah, I think the State just wants Blizzard to submit to their edicts, open their wallet and pay the attorneys. If they get some of Blizzard’s upper management purged so they can replace them with more ‘compliant’ racial profiles, all the better.

I say that only because that’s what it stank like on Page 3, Line 7. “Let’s get said leadership fired so that others who will bend to our will and political narratives, can replace them. Even if you know
they weren’t actually hired, but rather were the guys who founded and created the whole damn thing”.

Either way, we’ll see where it goes.
