Maybe this is dramatic, but frost feels so unplayable in single target with deaths chill. It is not fun or intuitive to ignore our procs to spam frost bolt. Im honestly just switching to Destro warlock until mage gets some sort of overhaul or they at the very least make deaths chill not a thing and fire actually do damage.

It isn’t unplayable but it is boring and unintuitive for sure. If people complained about the double dipping on Arcane being unintuitive, the current Frost optimal ST rotation is much worse.
Frostbolt related talents should be replaced asap with Death’s Chill probably being the worst offender. The Frost tree needs a major overhaul and has needed it for some time now. The 10.1.5 rework made for a fun gameplay and rotation but the tree itself still remains an abomination.

I also found Death’s Chill annoying and switched back to Spellslinger Arcane. I think that if I respec to frost for delves, I’ll take up Glacial Spike again instead of Death’s Chill. I get far too many procs that allow me to not press Frostbolt.
Even with glacial spike deaths chill is the go to talents for single target and cleave. It’s only in dungeon content it’s not used… Which works for delves
