Blizzard Raising Open World Ilvl from 246 to 252 - Casuals Rejoice

I’m gonna go ahead and put you on ignore, notorious no lifer that is incapable of having a discussion without insulting the other persons intellect.

You keep living on the forums and do your thing, glad I wont ever hear from you again.

Indeed. But because I told him he’s wrong, that makes me wrong, somehow. That’s some kind of logic, right? Lol

Gee, almost like it’s an E-sport or something.

Gee, almost like Blizzard themselves have promoted it and marketed it in the past or something.

It’s axiomatic. To speak nothing of how wrong y’all were about the open world ilvl items in your condescending OP.

EDIT: Here’s a real banger, nothing like incentivizing “player created” E-sport events with Blizzard sponsored real money prizes!

Still a joke. There’s no reason that non-raiders shouldn’t have access to tier pieces at the current tier level.

I’m zero percent offended by someone acquiring heroic or mythic level loot from quests or non-raid/dungeon/pvp content. In fact, it should be added to the game because all of those avenues are toxic as hell. Like I didn’t even try to get the Mythic mount because I couldn’t get into a mythic +10 dungeon without a 2k rating…

The people in this game make it a disgusting experience. I’d prefer, myself, to acquire top-level gear from questing every once in a while - if raiding turns out to be wasted time every week.

Yes, blizzard has finally recognized after 15 years that players treat new raid releases as a race. Something that’s been going on for over a decade.

In BFA they acknowledged it happens. They made a feat of strength for fast kills to try and get some horde guilds to go alliance. It failed.

There is no “prize” for the “race” from Blizzard. They just stopped putting their hands over their eyes pretending it doesn’t exist despite players bringing it up every single raid. There have been hundred plus page posts on mmo-champion every single tier discussing the race. Wowprogress has been tracking and documenting the race for over a decade.

There is no Blizzard stream or broadcast of the race. It’s all player driven.

Mythic+ Obviously has tournaments, just like arena since back in the TBC days.

I can have a discussion without insulting peoples intellect when they don’t post stupid things.

Besides, who are you again?

I post at work my guy. Stay salty though.

The only people who can’t get tier are solo players and that’s how it should be

So you want the game to die?

To be fair…

I dont know what stage of grief i am… i like to think im at stage 5.

But ‘this is the game’.

It wont change *until microsoft intervene because HOLY ****, what? (‘you designed this game and its financial future around a literal minority of hardcore gamers? are you insane?’)

But this is the game.

How would you come to that conclusion?

Solo players are the biggest minority.

Casuals make up the bulk
Followed by raiders

Solo players are the absolute last people Blizz should cater too.

You make a fine case. I completely agree.

220 is geared to do a 15 though.

It sounds like you want division, and to kick anyone who criticizes the system out.

No. Tier gear is a reward for group content. If you want tier you do group content. Not that hard of a concept.

Maybe if you do it with friends.

I’m not taking someone thats 220 geared to a 15.

Are you saying solo players can’t group?

Wouldn’t really be solo if they are in a group lol.

Right.

So does a solo player distinction actually exist or is it just an excuse to bury finger pointing?

Ask people that say they play solo.
