Blizzard raised sub prices for Ukraine and Turkey. Are we next?

I think it’s very tone deaf of them to do this. The miniscule amount of money they are going to make from this isn’t worth it. In fact I think they’d earned more and gain more respect if they declared that they’re not going to increase prices in Ukraine at this time despite the inflation.

I hope game journalists pick this up and bring it to the attention.

I would reply and say I don’t think you understand how the press works and that I find that baffling after years of bad press for Donald trump that worked in his favor. But I won’t say that because it’s rude and insults your intelligence and I try not to contribute to the toxicity here.

A sub increase in the US would be my time to bow out. I’m enjoying the game to be sure, but it’s not more than $15 a month levels of enjoyment.

We are actually paying $9.38 worth in terms of inflation

We should be paying $24 for a month of if they included inflation to match their 2004 $15 worth

Huh, just the other day I was saying how I’ve been playing since 07 and they’ve never upped the fee, and honestly I’ve loved that. If they made it 20 a month I would be that much more likely to quit, even though 15 dollars in 07 was a good bit more purchasing power than 15 today.

Heck 15 bucks won’t get me a meal for two at a fast food restaurant. One of the main reasons I don’t mind paying the fee is that the amount of money spent has become practically trivial.

That said, I think they have enough money. Those countries still pay less than we do, if only just so.

If they upped the fee I would demand an increase in quality and we all know that won’t happen.

Uhhh if they’re smart they wont do this to the US.

You do know thjat when other countries pay for wow their currency is converted into U.S. currency before it is deposited into U.S. Banks.

What the price change actually is , is a reflection of the value of that country’s currency to that of the value of the U.S. dollar.

So when that higher price they are paying each month gets converted and goes into a U.S. bank they are actually only paying $15 for that month in U.S. currency.

Maybe you might want to actually get yourself educated them spouting off about what you don’t actually know.

they upped Canadian sub fees a while back, no surprise they are doing it to other countries.

Just like Costco Hot Dogs, they will never raise the price on it
