I’ll put it simply.
If you’re doing anything at the level Mythic content, you’re not a casual.
And casuals don’t care about their power level.
It’s part of being a casual.
They’re here for the ride, not the ones driving the bus.

I’m thinking something more along the lines of a currency that can be spent on the spot when completing a M+ (even at lower key levels, if desired) that immediately creates an item based on the level of the key just completed.
Then there becomes a meaningful decision for M+ groups to make – “Do we burn our rolls now and come back to this loot opportunity next week more powerful, or do we save it and try to finish a harder key for better loot now?”
Also, having a currency would allow a cap that guilds could use to avoid forcing their members to do keys on progression weeks if they’re short of time.
Not enough time for M+ this week? Okay, come to Mythic progression with us, and we’ll just run two M+ next week at the level we want for the items we’ve missed.
Right now, I’m kinda thinking one such roll per week, with a cap of two, or maybe three (three feels like way too much, tbh) of the rolls stored up.
Can you please start using people’s names? It’s hard to know who you’re addressing when you don’t.
now thats a misqoute. whats wrong with not wanting to be behind the pack? for whatever reason it may be i wanna be on the same level as you thats my right for my 15 a month
I consider myself a casual player. I used to be a raider back in the day back I absolutely can’t stand being in a raid for 3-4 hours a night anymore. I prefer to be able to hop in a few pug heroic fights and maybe do 1-2 mythics a week to grab some gear that I want.
I know i’m not going to have the absolute best gear out there but (at least enough to be competitive in world pvp and battlegrounds and stuff) horrific visions has also helped me get some 465+ gear which is also nice.
I heard in shadowlands they’re nerfing drop rates in raids and such and that just kill is for me. Like I said above, I enjoy getting gear but this stuff took me a while to get and now they’re telling me I might have to potentially double the time I spend in raids to be able to get gear?
That doesn’t sound very rewarding at all especially when we know they’re just doing it to make the game an even bigger time sink.
That said, i’ll play SL. If I don’t like it’ll just stop playing.
Cause you refer to raiders as selfish petty humans, yet you are here caring about Jimmy not being ahead of you instead of your own progression, aka you are projecting.
No. It isn’t your right. The content you are doing, in comparison to the content they are doing is easier.
They deserve gear on par with the challenge of their content, as do you.
You do not deserve the same quality of gear just because you feel you do.
No, it’s your right to try to be on the same level.
Your fifteen a month buys you access past level 20, the ability to trade and speak, and content, not gear, or power.
That’s it.
I wish your 15 a month also got you some fashion sense, but I guess we can’t get all the nice things for just 15 a month.
i really dont care what you or anyone else thinks you know? if i did i wouldint bother commenting. im just here in the hopes the few people who agree with me and the devs keep the game the way i like it. if you get to be entitled so do i. your entitilement does not negate mine. your rights end where mine begin like i said in my first comment
Keep in mind that this may be a design choice to offset some of the loot available from other sources in the expansion. Depending on what crafting ends up being capable of and what the roguelike dungeon provides, raid drops may not need to be as fruitful as previous expansions have been.
you dont get to dictate what my rights are my rights are what i pay for
Blizzard does. They clearly do not agree with you.
EDIT: I’m also not dictating. You are saying you deserve things for paying for your subscription. So does Daityas, so does Ohgodmyeyez. (Corrected his name)
You simply dislike that you’re not getting handouts and you can’t run around like the mythic raiders you’re so resentful of.
You’ve lost any and all credibility and I no longer see any reason in replying too someone who can’t understand that they’re mistaken.
You don’t have a right to the things that other players have without doing the same things they’re doing, sorry.
Your fifteen gives you access to the game world, and your activities in the game world dictate what rewards you receive.
Your money has nothing to do with the rewards, nor should it ever.
not entirly accurate. if they keep they system like it is now without wf/tf and i can keepy my one weekly mythic raid level loot while at the same time knowing no one else is ahead of me, as far as im concerned blizz hads done its job to keep my sub
Honestly the sheer quantity of raid loot has been kinda absurd since they switched to personal loot. I’ve typically been full heroic + a decent chunk of mythic within the first month of the raid or so.
Especially with the hyper condensed loot table of Nya’lotha. It’s kinda hard not to get the item you need pretty quickly if there’s typically only 2-3 items on the loot table for the boss.
Yeaaaaaaah, Ny’alotha is a loot bucket with no bottom.
I’ve seen so many of that stupid dragonscale trinket thing from Wrathion that they have less value than a potion.
blizz would disagree cause it seems this conversation has lead us to the outcome i was hoping for which is that again i keep my one piece of weekly loot while knowing no one else is too far ahead of me
It’s okay not to want to be behind but to demand gear on par with everyone else is kind of silly just because you’re paying the same amount of money.
More effort = better reward.
As it is, it’s honestly not even that hard to gear in this expansion. It takes a little time but like I mentioned, i’m casual and ive managed to make it to 466 which I think is pretty rad for the amount of time I play.
See this is the part where people can actually meme you, you blame raiders for the removal of wf/tf saying they dont want you to be near them, but its actually you who wants everyone to be behind you, HOW DARE YOU ARE AHEAD OF AXËLL, people cant take you seriously with this stance m8, and if people put in more effort than you, they are rightfully rewarded more, thats how the game works.
Honestly, I wish they wouldn’t.
It doesn’t seem like we’ll be losing anything of value by having you out of the game.
The whole point of this thread is about the removal of Warforging and Titanforging, not about weekly chests. You’ve really strayed from the topic at hand and are just trolling at this point.
