Blizzard. Pls make ome change to classic to help people with jobs keep up

So many people are outleveling me because they dont have jobs. There are many people in my situation. The solution is tp triple the current rate of rested experience. Basically if i am level 10 and cant log in for 48 hours then i should have rested ecoerience all the way to maybe level 40

No.

Why the rush to level cap? You could always ask your jobless friends to make a separate char to level with you…

Seriously. What makes you think you’re entitled to be leveling as fast as them when they invest more time? If you can’t invest that much time, it’s a you problem. Working as intended.

As an absolute casual, my opinion is firmly NO.

I have a job and I’m ā€œbehindā€ everyone else but I don’t view myself as behind. I am going at my own pace and there will be others probably also where i’m at or will be where i’m at.

No. WoW classic is for those of us who are tired of the gimme gimme culture of retail wow. you want a casual time? Go back to retail.

This can’t be serious…

I am loving the long leveling experience… don’t expect to get to 60 until 3 months if you have a job…

Grind 45 minutes before start questing then proceed to quest 90 to 120 minutes. To be honest everyone can play at least 2 hours or 2 30 hours

People are leveling faster than you. So what? What difference does that make? Are you having fun? Are you enjoying yourself? See, those are the questions that matter. Focusing on what others are doing and the ā€˜unfairness’ of it is what ended up sucking the life and soul from the game. That mindset has no place in Classic.

So I dont think that much rest exp should be given but I totally understand what the op os saying.

If your goal and purpose is playing classic wow with your existing friends (ie not make new ones, not go at your own pace, not ā€œenjoy the rideā€) then it would really stink to be left behind.

Sorry op, I feel for ya and am in a similiar boat. Facing the choice of playing seperate from my friends or not playing at all.

There will be guilds with at various levels of progression/leveling. Best bet is to find a group of folks who are in a similar situation and play with them.

i only have 2 hours to play i need heirlooms or something

Look dude, I’m 37 years old. As much as I’d like to be able to catch up to people in leveling, Classic was set up this way. Yes, people with no jobs level up like no other. And yes, it sucks we’re stuck at level 10 for the next 2 days or so because of life and our job. Just take the the game in strides, you will eventually find a family oriented Guild that you’ll fall in love with. One that will support you and help you level up. Will it take time? Of course, everything in life including video games takes time.
If you wanted that fast leveling curve, I’m sorry to say then just go back to BFA retail. The way retail is setup is really for people who want to play for an hour or two and accomplish a butt ton of stuff.
I feel your low level pain as I’m playing Classic, currently I have a level 10 Orc Shaman named Dikveiny on a Normal East located server and I’m from California. So just keep on grinding the quests. But if what I’ve said hasn’t changed your feeling about our situation then download the following Addons:

orbSellAndRepair (grey seller and repair)
Questie (this works along with TomTom)
TomTom (Yes, this and Questie are designed to help you find quests in-game like retail)
Bagnon (this just totals your bag into one)

People who take time off from their jobs should not be punished by having people who are not playing as often be at the same level as them.

Likewise. There is nothing wrong with working a job during the week. That’s what most of us do :T You are always going to be ā€œbehindā€ people who don’t, but, like, explore the world and see the game. Don’t be concerned with max level. This isn’t BfA. There’s a whole world to discover, so go out and enjoy that. You’re already losing if you’re worried about your relative level :pensive:

Yes, and there are a lot of people with jobs that aren’t even doing as well as you.

Why are you trying to turn this into a race? Why are you trying to turn a group-themed MMO into a competition against the other players?

I understand the thought that this is a fresh start, maybe this time you will have a chance to be a big player on the server. You’ll be part of a world first, you’ll corner the AH in some area, you’ll be a founding member in a major guild. Well, as you’re finding out, if you’ve got any kind of life outside the game, that ain’t gonna happen.

My best advice to you is to let go of any kind of feelings of needing to keep up with the no-lifers, and instead find a home with people in your same circumstances, and just enjoy the world.

This game isn’t for everyone. That’s why it’s great. Let’s not change the game just because you can’t commit.

Easy.

If you want tripl the rested xp, level 3 characters at one time. Keep them in an inn in between playign them.

Boom. Triple the rested xp

If you ā€œhave a jobā€ and no time to play now you don’t have enough time to raid, much less prepare for raiding which includes gear and farming. So level slowly, enjoy the questlines and stop worrying.
