I doubt this. Aethas is already committed to rebuilding the Kirin Tor with the flawless perfect Ice Lady.
we got an whole questline about it in TWW.

Fun Fact, Rommath was supposed to be the Horde’s Twilight Traitor back in Cata and killed off, they then gave the Horde a random Shaman being the traitor instead.
In all honesty, I would still like to see Rommath killed off as the only Blood Elf come Midnight just because of all the things he did for the Warchief Garrosh. He was the one that used the Sunreavers to steal the Divine Bell, he was the one that researched the Shaw. He was the one that ousted his own kind wanting to research the void. (that could have been a boon for Silvermoon and the Horde). I would still like to see him as a Traitor that he was ment to be.
Lor’themar and Halduron can stay alive, or have them retire.
Blizzard is desperate to have them reconcile and are trying their hardest to force it.
Maybe they shouldn’t have those 2 commit war crimes against each other in Cata.
Frankly I rather they kill them off and leave that chapter of the game behind than force a reconciliation.
Nah. Letting the void anywhere near the Sunwell is a bad idea.
I never understood why the flawless ice lady was even involved in that questline, she literally ragequit the Kirin Tor before Legion and abandoned them right before THE Legion Invasion.
and it is just never mentioned again ecause…flawless ice lady can’t ever be criticized for anything.
If he comes back at all the blood elves themselves should immediately throw him back into the shadowlands
yeah i will be pretty disappointed if Lor gets offed (and it’d probably happen in a patch that will be nothing spectacular and be forgotten in a months time— adding to the irritation).
he is the only belf that i can actually say i like. ![]()
We all did things for Garrosh at the time. No more Horde leaders getting killed off. They met their quota. And exiling the Void Elves was not a bad thing after what happened to the well.
We would be down to whom then? Just Liadrin? The Horde is sparce as it is. Take out Umbric. He’s a traitor.

I’ll be right there to comfort Thalyssra, just like I did when she was all withered.
…damn, I’ve been friendzoned, haven’t i?
Because in your scenario, Alleria didn’t commit murder.
Xal’atath did, using Alleria’s body… which makes Alleria also a victim.
And do you really think the Horde would be allowed any of the spotlight?
I am pretty sure they gave up that right in the last round of negotiations.
Read up on lore before making random statements like this.
Jaina did a number on him and the Sunreavers and you call him a hypocrite?
Defending his people and being loyal to the Sin’dorei and Lorthemar is a disgrace?
Yes like a heffalump from Winnie the Pooh?

this is why my elf hate is less annoying.
i dont go around accusing other factions doing something they dont do.
Aethas was already occasionally working alongside Rommath in Quel’Thalas as of Shadowlands. They worked together in defending the Ghostlands from Vorath’s attack. Aethas is already present when you arrive in Silvermoon to discuss the situation, and Rommath says they don’t have time to wait for allies to arrive, which implies that Aethas was already in town when the attack happened rather than being recalled from elsewhere to provide assistance.
…what? No, that’s completely incorrect. I believe you’re thinking of Fanlyr Silverthorn, who was part of the Reliquary, not the Magisters of Silvermoon. Rommath didn’t have anything to do with the theft of the Divine Bell, he was in Quel’Thalas the whole time attending to his duties at home. He thought the Sunreavers were fools for trusting the Kirin Tor and didn’t want to have anything to do with them until they ended up in Jaina and Vereesa’s crosshairs, at which point he personally led the mission to rescue Aethas and his followers so that they didn’t suffer the same fate that he did under Garithos. As for the Sha research, Garrosh was already experimenting with it when he ordered Lor’themar to help research a specific Mogu artifact, and Lor’themar called in both Rommath and Aethas to handle the task. Rommath didn’t seek out research on the Sha on his own, and he had no interest in using it. Rommath also made it clear in questing that he had no real loyalty to Garrosh as Warchief, and jumped at the chance to suggest that Lor’themar would better at the job.
To be perfectly frank, Umbric is not in a great spot currently to survive if characters start dropping. He has less backstory than Lor’themar, Halduron, Rommath, Liadrin, and Aethas. He’s the second-in-command to a Windrunner who has far more narrative attention than him, leading people who complain about how said Windrunner isn’t around as much as they’d like. He’s a member of a group of people who are constantly battling to keep their sanity, not always successfully, and the force that keeps them in such a state is directly tied to the current big bad. I’m not advocating for killing him off or not developing him further, but as it currently stands it would be extremely easy to get rid of him for the sake of getting Alleria more involved with the Ren’dorei.
One of them will die.
One will become a raid boss.
One will sit a corner for the whole expansion.
Their Horde leaders, they’re bound to get whacked in some sense alongside an Alliance counterpart -maybe-
lor themar got married with thalyssra, he isn’t going anywhere, those 3 blood elves have been with us since burning crusade and the point for them was to fill the gap of kael’thas, halduron is the legolas of warcraft basically
Did any part of his B-plot in BfA, which had files across multiple PTRs for multiple patches, make it into the final version? I genuinely can’t remember.
Yes BFa, then a bit in SL. He was supposed to be resurrected as a loa after chilling in a pod in Ardenweald. We are still waiting.
Blizzard exists to serve the alliance so you can kiss all 3 of them goodbye while the alliance aligned Windrunner sisters will rule over Quel’thalas from now on. Nothing good will ever happen to blood elves as long as alliance elves exist.
You see folks he said mean things to the alliance which is a capital crime in this setting. It is even funnier when you consider that he was right about Umbric cuz that sore loser did the exact thing that got hin banned again and almost was enslaved by Etherals. Reality is some times the best parody in this story.
The Void (Xal’atath ?) will attack Quel’Thalas at Midnight… There will certainly be blood elf deaths.
