I"m just…I’m going to be really disappointed in the story, if those three get killed in the next expansion.
Let the Blood elves keep their leaders, and yes they can have trials and conflicts in the story but don’t just kill them off and replace them with alliance. Build a new Silvermoon with them in mind, it’s not hard to do.
If Midnight is about uniting all the elves, that means Horde elf leaders as well. Don’t make this mistake as I know many Alliance players who love Lor’themar, and his story, especially and would hate it if he’s killed off for a replacement.
And now they are first on the hit list. Thanks for reminding the writers the trio exists. I’d expect them to kill Lor’Themar since he is in a relationship. Gotta have that emotional tug.
I’m both excited and a very worried about the ‘New Silvermoon’.
Also I know how most folks feel bout Shadowlands but…this might be a neat way to have a reformed and now enlightened Kael’thas return, to face the judgement of his own people, and to fully atone for his actions. That would be an amazing story moment for the Blood Elves and Lor’themar as a leader.
You should know blizzards track record by now, kill the male leaders and have the ladies take over. Lor’themar will do some sacrifice plot and then Lady Liadrin takes over.
Even if they just step down, which I still don’t want at all, and still kept alive.
The writers love killing off elves when they can get away with it, just…not those three…they need to stay alive or the Silvermoon story for Midnight is going to be bland and awful.
They hate writing councils, hence why they tried having the Alliance leaders all cede their authority to Varian and then have Anduin inherit the High King position. They also just really like Liadrin, and that’s been a constant since TBC.
If Lor’themar were to be killed Pelegos would probably send him to Ardenweald to work with the Winter Queen and Ysera. Since he has management experience he could help them rebuild the anima orchrads.
