Blizzard please never design an online checkers game

I fear one side would start with 3 kings, somewhat like the ilvl discrepancy is now in arena. Please dont get in to ruining any more games.

Every week you would have range of chores that would grant you Checker Power. Checker Power would be used to move Checker Pieces. To discourage players from spamming the easiest chore to fill up their weekly Checker Power cap, the rewards for repeating the same chore will be decreased, in turn encouraging players to do all the chores to maximize their Checker Power. Upon completing a check match, you receive 125 Checker knowledge that can be used to progress your Checker tree. There’s a weekly cap of 550 Checker knowledge that accumulates over the Checker season. Checker knowledge unlocks perks such as first move, move two squares from first row, multiple leaps, etc. In addition to Checker knowledge, you also gain Checker dust, which is used to construct ultimate Checker peices, which you can currently only have one on your side of the board at a time. Checker dust can only be gained twice a week and from defeating unique opponents as opposed to defeating the same opponent twice. Ultimate Checkers have powerful traits, like becoming rooks or bishops from chess. However, which peices you can have depends on who you are friends with. For example, friends of Tim can build rooks and friends of Sally can build bishops. In addition to Checker knowledge and dust, you also gain Checker points that can be used to customize the appearance of your peices, like getting Tim’s face imprinted on the Checker pieces.

For the first eight months you can only slide your pieces around. After that you are allowed to pick them up when moving them.

Also, the board is a series of spikes, gullies, and dead ends.

This guy won 100 checkers games in a row. He’s really great so we’re gonna reward him with 3 kings at the start of every game!

Blizzard logic… :joy:

It would actually be more like 3D checkers, but you can’t access the higher boards until you unlock the Boardfinder achievement by successfully winning with strategies involving the first board only.
