With the Winds of Wisdom buff being in the game for a while now I’ve been leveling a bunch of alts. I feel like having to come to a complete stop to mount up drastically disrupts the flow of questing.
It sounds like a very minor thing, and it is. But it’s a minor thing that is repeated so many times throughout the leveling experience that it becomes a major thing.
I feel like moment to moment gameplay would be much more fluid and much more enjoyable if mounts were castable while moving.
What, you can’t turn into a bird?
As a baseline thing, I don’t think so. Maybe as mount equipment or something consumable like stirrups. Could allow casting while moving or just reducing the cast time.
What about leaving that as an advantage to classes/races that can do that? I don’t think we all ought to be privy to be able to do that.
Sounds like Druid is the classes for you.

This is a great idea. The mount equipment system is wildly underutilized.
I think instant mounting would still be a slight advantage for those classes. Especially if castable while moving was mount equipment and not baseline.
