Please try to remember when class identity was a thing and every class could stand on its own regardless of the extra gimmicks.
Please remember that borrowed power should be above and beyond class identity not a forced part of it.
Please remember that people don’t mind a challenge as long as there is a perceived reward.
Please remember choice. Would it really have killed you to make it so Emissary rewards had options…Don’t want Azerite? how about gold? or Resources?
Please remember that PvE and PvP does not draw the same crowd. they dont necessarily want to do the other.
Please remember that some WANT to do trade skills and enjoy when they matter, not when they are a substandard option. We gather the materials, we want that to matter.
Please remember that WOW had its most SUBSCRIBERS prior to your current trend of making everything about borrowing gimmicks systems.

Hopefully. I just want all crafting to matter again. I miss crafting things like leg armors and shoulder enchants.

Nope.
Shadowlands alpha is dead so far. Unless something seriously changes not looking good right now. We shall see what the next build has in store and when beta starts but it looks grim.

From the alpha footage/datamining I’ve been watching, it’s looking promising. Dont want to get anyones hopes up until it’s in your hands though.

That is how unpruning has happened. Actually since the diablo B devs are flopping hard with shadowlands alpha it is their last stand.
And when a new dev team comes in they will comb the forums, twitter, and reddit for feedback from players.

It just has that appearance right now, since people aren’t theorycrafting their soulbind/legendary builds. I can already see myself exporting my character to Raidbots to find out which soulbinds and legendaries I need to have a remotely functional character.

Hard to hype shadowlands alpha right now.
I mean it is obviously incomplete. But what they have presented thus far isn’t going to have enough pull factor for players in general. I think Blizz is over estimating how much Torghast is going to be interactive with a wide swathe of players.
The appeal of Torghast isn’t as great as Blizz believes and even true if they leave in the timers for Torghast.

Blizz has a big announcement coming up and will probably talk in depth about crafted legendaries and souldbinds +conduits.
But Blizz fails to realize even veteran players are fatigued by systems on top of systems. RIP to new or returning players as they will be overwhelmed with rentals borrowed power left and right.

Do you have a source of that? Shadowlands is being made by a Diablo B team? If this is true then ultra yikes. Killing all my hype with that.
Just give me my High Elf and don’t give me 36 dailies to do every day and I’ll be here for the whole expansion Blizz.
