There is a known bug with mind control where you can’t click any of your abilities after getting mind controlled (after mind control is done). This bug has existed since at least 12.0.5 and has cost be multiple rated PvP games.
Sounds like an addon bugging out. Do a full UI reset, and test it again with zero addons.

Unless it’s affecting hundreds of people, it’s a game bug or by design now given how long it’s been this way.

It’s not a UI bug. Priest MC causes your abilities to be unable to be used for the remainder of the match.
Bump. This ability should be disabled entirely in PvP combat.

Keep in mind that I’m not completely shutting down the possibility that it’s not a bug, I’m simply saying that the first step to troubleshooting this and ruling things out, is to first disable all addons by doing a UI reset.

Asking people to following extremely basic troubleshooting instructions, is not gaslighting. If a Blue were to post in this thread, it would probably be their very first suggestion as well.

Abusing it? It fits right in with the warlock pvp telport hack and the whatever class that knocks you back 10,000 ft.
I did, and only saw one relevant thread, from March 28th, with a 19 replies and less than five hundred views (likely the same ~10-15 people checking the thread multiple times, over the course of months). To me, that just says “we all use the same addons that we think will give us a PvP edge.” If you need help following the extremely simple troubleshooting instructions, to rule out addon interference, I can walk you through through them step by step.
