There were ways you could get out as still human so you wouldn’t have to be in worgen form and you could keep the scaling pet whistle which was cool. Worgen got heavy nerfed late expansion/early next.

The only actually cool thing that cats brought and was nerfed in MoP was the Nelf Casting animation buff. Your stave would float in front of you as you casted and was the main reason I made a mage for the first time.
