You made claims. They weren’t accurate, nor true. So, you were wrong.
Don’t know what happens in your reality when people make an argument for someone to not get what they’re after, but in my reality there is a discussion about logic, and whether yours holds up. I guess some people believe that “everyone is entitled to their opinion” while simultaneously believing that “all opinions are equal,” but that doesn’t seem to work for anyone who understands the disastrous nature of these two beliefs.
