Blizzard Please Add More Vegan Friendly Food Options

As a vegan and picky eater I think that Blizzard should add more of a wide variety of food to their vendors so that players can have a more diverse diet. I believe the lack and limit of food options is causing people to learn bad food habits and is probably why most WoW players BMI is high. I think it’s up to the game maker to police how their game impacts people on a mental level. So I am asking Blizzard to add more healthy and a variety of food options to vendors.

Have you seen these vegan pet owners who refuse to feed their dogs/cats a carnivorous diet?

-World of Warcraft has nothing to do with your filthy ‘in-real life mindset’
-The food we eat in this world of warcraft can’t even be digestive therefore we do not eliminating feces from our body!
-we just magically convert the food into health & supernatural power to perform spells.

I suspect this would see more potential as a topic for retail, at this point, as even simple slightly silly changes like this for RP purposes aren’t super likely in classic, and honestly the crafting system especially around cooking simply is to limited, none of the recipes uses any herbs at all, only cheap spices that come from the vendors.

I mean certainly the forsaken crowd wonders where the recipe for a slightly rancid “leg bone” is, where after a little PvP fun, shouldn’t they be able to keep a portion of the spoils of war, which they could then cook up perhaps sautéing it with some ghost mushrooms and some plaugebloom for a late night snack?

I was gifted the wow cookbook for christmas a couple years ago… sooo much meat, its glorious

Everyone you know, hates you.

This is vanilla forums, retail has its own forums

We can have spider kebob, rat kebob and eat pig’s snouts, scorpid stingers and suchlike … no not good … really! WoW is a Fantasy game, I never heard of anybody eating a scorpid stinger baked into a pie because of WoW. Do not expect realism from it. If you want to RP a person eating only vegetal matters you do the work to do it, just like I do on my toon dressed only in green.

I can assure you that dog isnt even the slightest bit healthy, it will be dead within the year.

theyve been on that diet for 5 years, so i doubt it.

Not like i truly expect you too, but prove it lol

not that i actually expect you to read it, but this should prove it enough.

"The team also analyzed the foods themselves – the vegan diets were veterinary nutritionist-formulated mixtures of whole foods like lentils, garbanzo beans, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, apples, blueberries, peas, and carrots – and confirmed both vegan diets and the chicken-based diet met standards set by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) for “complete and balanced” nutrition. "

Yeah one most likely never peer reviewed study vs thousands of years of evolution you sure showed me bro (is it ok to call you bro im making an educated guess your the type that really gets bent out of shape over pronouns)

the Oxford Academic Journal of Animal Science is most definitely a peer reviewed academic journal.

Take some time to read the study. It’s pretty interesting. If you don’t feel like paying, you can read the lay abstract and get a good feel for it without subscribing to the journal. The original paper from the article above can be found here.
