Can’t be done, because the Pre-Patch isn’t ready. And they’re not releasing it on the TBC build.
Pre-patch will last between 2 and 6 weeks, probably 4, which puts Pre-Patch on August 29th, to give 4 weeks before September 26th for all the Fresh players to level.
The economies have never been better. Primal fire down to 7g each now. Ohhhhhh the inflation. Its out of control. Sooo unfair to new players. (Rolls eyes)
I cant wait till 6 months after launch and create a char on fresh server just to compare prices on the fresh vs bot inflated servers. Not so much to see the price difference. I already know what it will be. I just want to see the crazy excuses ppl will use to explain it. Im sure rdf will get used as an excuse by some of them.
??? Uh where are you getting gold to buy these materials as a new player? Definitely not farming them that’s for sure. You cant even farm primals on my server, all Chinese gold farmers and bots that grief you.
Only way fresh servers survive is if Blizzard changes their mind on potentially opening it up to transfers. They should state a firm “NO” to transfers on fresh servers.
Policing bots and real money trading would be a good thing to do too. They could treat the fresh servers as an experiment and compare how the players rate their experiences between fresh and rotten servers a year from now.
That’s fine, just know it’ll die in a month or so and no one wants to hear the begging and tears when they’re stuck on ded server lmao. Most people right now are coming in and using the exp boost to get going now, not waiting for Fresh.
So yeah. Hopefully they don’t goof and give you 10 servers but 1 for ea.
They should have just launched the wrath fresh servers at the start of TBC to give you guys time to go through some raid tiers and get some gear before launch. Level your professions and whatnot
If you want to put in work in advance then play on a realm that’s already open.
“The point of the fresh server is to level before wrath is released to be ready for release. Not to be released on the day wrath launches.”
-You have it completely backwards. You’re actually describing the original realms. The new fresh ones are FOR wrath.
Nothing wrong with being excited about fresh. Happy you can enjoy Seasonal WoW.
But the push to make it sound like you want to be competing against the rest of the servers is what sounds bonkers to me. Isn’t half the point of fresh to be done with the pressure of only caring about max level due to that being where the majority of the population is on established servers?
