Blizzard , people can take a picture of the dorito bags to get the code

Do… do you think Blizzard owns Doritos?

No, duhh.
Blizzard owns mtndewgaming.com.
That’s why it has ESO and FF14 and Madden rewards in the store. Obviously.

I am having a hard time conjuring in my mind what would get me to buy Mountain Dew, and save litttle numbers, and enter them somewhere…. I already give up

If buying Mountain Dew and Doritos got me a flying Brutosaur Mount , with a barber…. maybe

The tinier the wings on the Flying Brutosaur, the more Doritos I would buy

They do have the technology to do that like with gift cards and such but that is very expensive to set up and requires a separate bar code with a different number on each product and I doubt they would do that for a short contest.

And the rewards barely cost anything - the mount is 600 points, that’s 6 small 16oz mtn dews at 100 points each, (some are worth 200) a 12 pack of cans gets you 500 or 1000 points.

they could have done it how trolli did it. require a picture of your receipt but instead they took the totinos route…never go full totinos. it isnt 2005 people.

So after having a few issues with the codes they are supposed to be inactive until theyre purchased, so if a cashier scans a single bag then just changes the number the other codes won’t be active, though I did have one that did already get used so I’m assuming that the bag was returned after the person used the code.

It’s only ten digits. But that doesn’t matter because there’s also a QR glyph that inputs it automatically from the camera :joy:

There’s no way it works like that, every bag has the same UPC. You’re probably just running afoul of the terrible font they used where 1, 7 and T all look the same. Or trying to input 2 or 5 (only S and Z are valid, at least they did something right).

It’s weird how cans of Soda are like 15 bucks when 7 dollars of bottles give the same amount of Litres

People on GD really think Blizzard owns Doritos?

i ate so many of those gummies…i crave them now.

I would have no…but this thread definitely makes me think that some.people do

The bags I have had have all had vastly different codes.

Time gated even IRL

Wasn’t a Blizzard Idea they just provided the prize. This is a Pepsi/Frito Lays issue.

Blame Doritos, not Blizzard.

RIP to the person that buys a dozen or so bags expecting to get points and each one has already been claimed.

Do the smart thing. Buy the 12kp for the easy 1000 points and safely redeem.

That’s what I was afraid of. I know how people can be.

Not Blizzards issue though. You’re complaining in the wrong place.
