Which means if you wanted to get your name you had to be lucky enough to log on during this time. The only way to fix this would be delete any characters created during this time…which lets be real they will never do. They ALWAYS find new ways to screw everything up…it’s actually impressive.

name reclamation didn’t appear to be enabled fwiw
I mean it was already opened for weeks before they locked it anyways all names are reserved or taken after they announced they’d do server transfers.
They shoulda just made it level 60 gets prio or just made a new server 
regardless a free name change sounds nice
It appears there was a fairly coordinated effort to pour through WCL and take all of the high end guild names/character names.
