Blizzard needs to ban Raider IO.....they are monetizing joining raids behind a Patreon paywall

Everyone uses Raider IO for screening applicants and its a third party addon. Now, they demand a Patreon monthly account if you do not want to be 50,000 (yes, this is real) in line to update your character.

You can literally play this game for as many years as you want at whatever level you want, and never once use this feature of raiderio. It updates your characters very frequently by itself.

Blame blizzard. It’s the only game I’ve ever played where the content was complex and demanding to the point where something like this had to exist. I absolutely would quit this game overnight if raiderio disappeared.

Wait people check Raider Io score in game still? I could of sworn blizzard put in a built in IO to check peoples progress just by hovering over them.

It’s trash. Only casuals actually uninstalled raiderio for the in-game version. It doesn’t show nearly enough information.

Shows enough for people who don’t wanna treat the game like a second (or first?) job.

I don’t see how the game’s place on someone’s priority list has anything to do with th desire to succeed or fail a key or raid. If anything, the guy with less time should probably be even more concerned with wasting his time than the guy who has nothing but time.

The addon only gets updated 1 or 2 times/day, even if people are running the client and reload every time there’s an update. All it does is pull data from the armory, or someone using their livelog feature of the client.
So,
1: your character updating on the sight won’t push it to someone’s client, they need to update their addon which
2: won’t be in the database until the database gets built for the addon and made available on the client, which is once every 12 hours iirc.

Also, that’s not the reason you’re getting declined OP.

Close tab.
Return in a hour.
Character updates happen regardless if you have tab open or not.
Stop whining.

Just list your own key.
Mythic Plus score updates on its own
