Akston’s statement isn’t an opinion. It’s provided as fact. And although he’s not wrong (Or completely right), my opinion is deemed as invalid without any merit.

We all absolutely deserve max gear at the end of a season. People seem to convulute this idea with only the best players deserving it. No we can have max ilvl and still not be doong +20s like the pros. They can have a special title or x mog for doing +20s. But like you said you have a special needs friend and fauzstraza seems to think he doesnt deserve to end game content. This is the trash elitist community that has been spawned from the last few seasons of M+
We had that when it was only Heroics.
So ilvl should not correlate with content difficulty?
What if we, for example, just all start at 600 ilvl, and every week we hand in a quest like siren isle to increase the ilvl of all our gear by 3. Something simple like collect 8 gems or kill 1 rare.

I THINK limited scaling is just as lazy. I THINK its ok to like scaling.

Hmm, that’s certainly a new way to look at things.
I’d say there’s more of an effort to balance m+ (with difficulties in mind) than just throwing stuff out there and assuming it can work.
I don’t completely agree. There’s a grey line here I’m not sure some of us would want to cross. A rage war if you will.
Me personally? Everyone can have it all they want. Certain others? The anger would be real. Too real. Disgustingly real.
Not when it promotes exclusivity and toxicity. We should be able to upgrade to mythic track gear from hero for lets say 60 gilded crests at the end of a season to allow all players to experience further content for the last couple weeks. It all becomes worthless in a couple weeks when 11.1 releases anyways so why gatekeep?

Showing you the folly of your opinion isnt an attack. I could simply say Paladins are the worst tanks, and thats how I feel, and someone providing evidence otherwise isnt an attack nor does it invalidate my opinion.

Hating infinite scaling is the same as hating any level of scaling. Or its just ignorance on the matter of scaling and how it works. Again, not an attack, just simply stating facts.
TL;DR: youre playing victim. To no end. A disagreement with a counter opinion is not an attack
