Once again they miss the mark, this won’t stop anything from happening but may kill the dps that also killed the monk too.
But any half decent healer will just dispell it immediately so it won’t do anything to help people blowing through it.
Shoulda just recycled code from Blessing of Sac to make the damage transfer instant and undispellable.
That’s the only way it will be an actual deterrent to not hit. The dot just basically can be ignored by anyone’s own defensives or from a healer’s dispell
Where are you seeing all these new notes?
for a moment i thoght it was a 105% HP absorve…
Would have actually been useful
I mean… Choice Nodes on Touch of Death talents could fix at least the single-target issue if the devs are afraid of monk overperforming because of being strong AND having such a ToD.
It should just be reworked, that would be a better solution though. (Let go of shadowlands at least some more)
The ToD nodes are pretty worthless in pvp, the only reason I even have meridian strikes is because spiritual focus is locked behind it.
I was talking about PvE here but yes. I can’t imagine it really being useful in PvP at all…
this thread is specifically about PVP, as the above change is only affected in PvP.
Edit: sorry I was a bit confused
I didn’t mean to interrupt the flow, sorry.
Ah I just read your edit.
I wanted to say that I agree that ToD talents are pretty useless for PvP.
And that my guess is that they forgot to tweak WW for PvP as they lowered it’s effectiveness probably because of this ToD playstyle.
I am unfortunately unhappy with the current WW. At least I still enjoy playing MW and BM but I can’t really find my way inside PvP again.
Yeah our layout for our tree has to be one of the worst, so many filler nodes that should have been baked into each other for sure.
The worst spec-tree paired with the worst class-tree simply can’t work properly.
