PvE gear in retail cant be used to pvp at all. If you don’t have 18% vers and both pvp trinkets atm you are playing wrong. Btw i get heroic-level gear by doing pvp lol

They also made vers the “pvp stat” this xpac by adding a 2-piece set bonus to your pvp trinkets. Increased vers bonus by 40%.

Making a suedo PvP stat in verse while keeping it a viable pve stat with certain specs is a good idea.
PvP stat was always a good idea. We get fools like you who dont understand why it works or that it is a good thing. We get people who dont even pvp outside random BGs acting like experts.

I don’t care. PvP gear is such an atrocity to begin with. What purpose does it serve to raid for gear that’s inferior to baby gear? Grinding with premades for months on end for a gear set that is hilariously over-statted for reasons of dumb designers getting “their way”. It made the game horrible. How is this not clear?
The fact that you think this has anything to do with PvP stats on the gear in question is wrong to begin with. Resilience or PVP Power or Vers or w/e.
The issue is that the gear is hilariously over-statted. This continues to be such a dumb, idiotic joke that has for years now, run its dumb little course.

Someone cant get the higher item level rewards because mean PvPers keep them stuck at 1500.
Why would the gear you earn from PvE and PvP not be statted differently? If we are talking about classic…does the PvP gear having more stamina than most gear not make sense? I literally have separate sets of gear on my main for the activity, wether it be PvP or PvE resist sets. Seems to make sense to me seeing as one of the big ways to get better at PvP is not to die. Where as dieing in PvE is very easy to not do, and maxing your dps or hps becomes the bigger part of the pie chart.
I’ll agree that as an expansion gets closer to its end the amount of scaling involved with our dmg/health gets waaaaaaaaaay over the top. PvP gear seperate from PvE gear has always been the way to go. They are completley different ballparks in how you play the game.
I don’t see the point in this discussion where PvP gear can be astronomically better than PvE is any way sane at all.
I don’t see how on Earth, anyone, can possibly say that the Honor system is anything but an unbelievable trainwreck of god awful design.
I don’t see, why, PvP gear simply wouldn’t be statted in a way in which it was just as powerful as PvE gear given the nature of how it’s farmed.
For one to have a level playing field, one needs the gear in question to actually be level.
How is this not clear to everyone at this point? What purpose does it serve to say that “having a level playing matters”, and then design the game in a way, where a level playing field is fundamentally not possible.
How does that ever make sense?
