Blizzard makes money from botting companies

Blizzard makes money from botting companies in classic and encourages real money transactions.

If the instance limiting was truly meant to address botting the only way it did so was to line blizzards pockets at the expense of legitimate players experience. Botting companies will simply purchase more accounts. Many players have multiple accounts linked to the same bnet email and pay for those individual accounts. Why would you pay for multiple accounts and link them to that bnet account when you don’t derive the additional benefit?

$15/month = 30 instance lockouts per day
$30/month = 30 instance lockouts per day if both accounts are linked to the same bnet email

Blizzard since you already sell gold in the form of wow tokens and lvl boosts in retail can you just do the same in classic? I mean clearly this decision has nothing to do with botters and everything to do with how normal players experience the game.

Maybe turn on anti cheat and invest in banning botters instead of alienating your player base by being sellouts.

Anti cheat or gtfo. The change is garbage. Reverse it!!!

It is an obnoxious notion to marginalize a large population of players (dungeon farmers). Mages are the 2nd most played class in Classic, and they don’t even account for ALL of the dungeon farmers in Classic.

Dungeon farming is very much a part of “normal gameplay” in Classic. It’s 2020, not 2004, the way that people play the game has changed.

Imposing diminishing returns upon legitimate players who pay for multiple WoW account subs is the most de-motivating feeling ever. Someone with 2 accounts on same battle net goes from the ABILITY to run 240 dungeons a day (in theory, 24 hours x 5 lock outs, times 2 accounts. Not physically possible, just stating what the absolute limit was before this garbage change) down to 30 with shared battle net account realm-wide lockouts is the most absurd thing to try to wrap my mind around. You are collecting double the money, but failing to provide and offer double the full functionality that each separate WoW account (same battle net account) should warrant.

This is by far the worst decision by Acti-Blizz since Classic’s launch.

I WILL unsub ALL accounts if reversions are not implemented. Quickly.

Bump!

All Blizzard cares about is $$$$$$$ and don’t care about legit players AT ALL!!!

Why am I paying for multiple subs if they all share the same gd dungeon lock???
In what universe does that make any sort of sliver of sense. Spoiler alert … It doesn’t.

People act like its hard to hit the 30 instance lockout per account. You can do 5 arena runs farming for SGC in less than in hour, then log to another 60 and do some dungeons and come back. Classic has been out for awhile, you act like people don’t have multiple level 60’s they want to play on. W** Blizz
