This has been a hot bed issue from pretty much AV launched if not prior. and now we are to the point of horde with on average 25-30 minute plus queues, alliance instant queueing with premades abusing an exploit to end the game on average around 6-10 minutes. horde as a result has to some how get 40 random people each time to coordinate against this to stop them enough times to drive down their actual honor gains to make them not care.
Why is it a known issue from Vanilla that took until patch 2.3 to fix All Warmasters are linked to each other and their respective Generals and can no longer be pulled individually.
Some how made it into the classic. you know its an exploit, we know its an exploit and alliance continuously abuse this way more so than horde because of their ease of organization to do this.
My propositions:
Hide the AV number; this will mean alliance can have a harder time premading to a degree unless you hide it completely to where they dont see it, the only times horde wins for the most part are its either A: a terrible premade, or B: a queue dodged Alliance says they dont but its plain as day when it happens
Second: implement the fixed leashing for warmasters and marshals to fix solo pulling and extend the longevity of the game enough to where it can be played a bit more like it was maybe intended to? instead of this drek or kek meta that changes every other day Horde is at a disadvantage all around in this BG because of the sheer number of premades.
third: Ban people who abuse the exploit. call it what it is, its a 15 year old game with an exploit that made it back into classic that really has no business being live, and those who abuse it should be punished accordingly.
#nochanges is fine and all but when it ruins the integrity of the game, not to mention makes ranking a lot more unhealthy than it needs to be theres a line between nochanges and changes for preserving the integrity of the game.
also I am aware of what the horde can do for solo pulls on van, it doesn’t happen nearly as often due to the constant disorganization of pugs
There are a lot of non-optimal things in AV for both factions. The only one I really wish Blizz would fix are the scumbags that never leave the tunnel.
Well I don’t really see much point for bg numbers anymore they were kinda like the substitute for queing together back when it wasn’t cross realm bgs.
Technically your thread is spam too. Should we report you?
On topic. It may be a problem for you, but not others. Leave the game alone. This is vanilla. Not some hybrid of vanilla and retail. If you want a hybrid game ask blizzard to make it.
technically its not its trying to address a problem and offering criticism, and potential solutions but go ahead.
its not vanilla its classic its the 1.12 client reverse engineered on off the 7.3.0 build to work with the modern frame work. and just because an exploit was vanilla like doesnt mean it should be in now 15 years later especially when its a detriment.
Nothing is stopping you and your friends from entering the same AV together. You decided to play horde and now have to deal with the wait times as a CONSEQUENCE of playing the over populated faction.
this version blows loooooooong doooooooooong make the objectives matter blizz- er excuse me, “activision”’ bunch of $*@# developers are the equivalent of absentee landlords they way they have let this deteriorate
Except there is, perhaps the fact queues are on average 25-30 minutes, and any attempt to coordinate premades never works because we horde cannot queue dodge to the affect alliance can to get optimal comps to stomp AV.
expecting 40 people to take on average maybe 30 minutes to get into an AV and the same one at that when alliance has instant queues to make premades laughably easy? Please try to find a better round about excuse for alliance premades.
