What’s worse is the Skymane looks better IMO.
I know some people probably like it, but I HAAATE that glowy highlighted coloring they’ve been doing on some items since WoD. It automatically makes any piece of gear or mount look worse. It’s not like a cool glowy effect, it just looks like the artist had a finished product, and then traced around some parts of it with a highlighter tool. Hate it. lol

do the achieve because you want it, not because you thing other people are gonna be all “woah who was that masked man” as you ride by on your horse.

See? And that’s the beauty of this: two mounts, almost the same, but people get a choice of what they like better.
It’s all about opinions and it’s what matters to you.
That would make sense if you got them from the same source, not when comparing a grind that takes a few days/weeks and one that takes years.
A mount was a strange reward for this. Especially now as the op points out. I feel it should be a title reward. Those can’t be copied and show off the achievement better (it would have to be cool though).
This made me curious so I just checked…I’m 96/100…I had no idea!
To me, it doesn’t much matter. The flashy ones comes from something that takes longer. The plain one comes from something easy to do. It makes sense to me.
No they didn’t. They complained that it was going to be a reskin of the hearthstone mount, which would have been super lazy. No one asked for the fel reskin of the ravenlord.
I never understood “If I haven’t seen it, it doesn’t exist.” internet logic. I get compliments from time to time when I’m on a rare mount, so it literally does happen.

I gave up on collecting mounts if they drop great if not no great loss. After i got my 100 rep mount I basically said enough. I have so many recolors of the same mount now it no longer bothers me.
Recolours are fine if they stand out
Like fire bird, void bird and fel bird are completely different even though they’re recolours. They could 100% add blue and pink and yellow and grey and they would look amazing as rewards
The problem is a peach horse, a beige horse, a white horse, a tan horse and a light grey horse
Make the horses have extra particles in their manes and hooves depending on difficulty of achievement, give them bright pink or green or fiery tails and manes and its fine
the way they’re carrying on, you’d think that was the case 
Not really sure why that’s the reward anyways. There’s versions of that horse that look better, and have armor.
It’d be better if the 100 reps reward was an “Ultimate Paragon’s Cache” that just contained a mount that would usually be found in a reputations Paragon Box.
