The game was the game. Classic had its flaws but pandering to complaints and “fixes” is what got us retail today. And now look at the result of whiners who don’t like premades that were formed to take advantage of the only advantage Alliance had, and thus even the chances.
Is it time to go back to private servers? If this continues, that’s the only choice left. What else will they change for the whiners who can’t deal with classic?
The issue isn’t the whiners. The poor alliance players that only pugged AV games had a good excuse to whine. Their AV experience was horrible because of premaders.
The issue is how blizzard tries to fix it.
@Septicflesh Welcome to your 4 hour queues. Enjoy.
@Ziryus, yes it’s the horde whiners I’m referring to. Any alliance that had a clue just did a google search for “Alliance AV Premades” and was good after that.
Alliance that whined about being left in a “drop” AV were just unmotivated when a perfectly good solution existed.
This version of AV is crap. The ability to make premades in AV and especially this version of AV is crap. The premades griefed their own faction to the point Blizzard had to make some kind of change… you guys can blame yourselves for that.
Funny how that works. … Blizzard sets up a system where alliance gets farmed for months… Ignores their complaints but quickly solves a non problem in horde favor when horde complains.
This is an entirely different issue and will most likely never be addressed… unfortunately. With that said, AV was never supposed to be the META for the rank grind anyway.
I like you Septic, i think you are a reasonable easy going fun lovin person for an undead rogue.
That being said I wish to signal my very strong disagreement with your statement.
Nothing personal, just going to agree to disagree on this one. I like askin hypotheticals from time to time, so allow me to ask one more. Would you push in a thumbtack with a sledgehammer?
Answer is probably no. But that was the elegant solution we were given even though the real problem wasn’t whiners, or premades. The REAL problem was lack of faction balance.
Anything that doesn’t directly tackle that issue is just window dressing.
Wrong. Not everyone wants to be on discord. Not everyone even HAS discord. Some people like to just log on and do a bg or two without feeling obligated to join a premade. Some people don’t want to be obligated to either talk or hear other people talk and they just want to do the bg objectives in a regular bg environment. Not all pvp players are the same.
