Make WoW free to play announced at next Blizzcon.

You already announced free Destiny last Blizzcon and free Starcraft 2 the Blizzcon before, its WoW turn now.

I’d prefer they didn’t. I have no interest in playing this game on a Free-to-Play model.

If it went F2P as in subscription prices removed and nothing else changes… Then sure.

I don’t think Blizz has the know how to make this game FTP and be successful.

I mean there are a thousand things they could be copying from other games to bring in more money even with a sub but they seem to be stuck in the past. Things like cheaper and more services, daily or weekly login bonuses. Veteran’s rewards for those who have stuck with them through everything, etc.

If they can’t do stuff like that to keep people subbed instead of time and rep gating everything, then what makes you think they can make FTP worthwhile?

I think the dev team and management are paralysed right now. I don’t think they actually know what to do next.

Or they do know, and Activision are saying “no”.

This game will die before they release it as F2P btw.

No free to play model. They’d lose me as well. I like getting most of my stuff with my subscription and being limited by MTs would be terrible.

Nah, you’ll buy your bonus rerolls for 2 bucks a pop.
If you want better WF chances, 10 bucks a month, 15 bucks a month get you a guaranteed TF item a month and all the preevious features.
