Oh? Really?
You mean you can’t round stats, and then alter their gear appropriately?
You act as if this math isn’t already known.

I like it how it is, don’t change it
After the third time, not really no. besides, who is leveling Outland?
They basically do already thanks to party sync.
The only issue is you can only be in a PARTY with it, not a raid.
Get a level 60 to invite you and sync you and 3 others to 60 and go run the old raids.
Its actually REALLY fun. Or, what I have been doing if you don’t know anyone interested.
Sync instead to 80 and go try to solo the 60 raids.
Now that’s an interesting experience.
I wiped quite a few times and had to really think before I was able to get a few bosses.
Remember, Party Sync employees character templates so if you want an extra challenge take gear off in some slots and you will lose a LOT of power.
Past that and timewalking, I see no reason to make them scale further.
Let’s wait and see how it goes in 9.0 though, because at the moment a level 10 can enter every dungeon in the game thanks to the new leveling stuffs.
Maybe that means the raids will all be for level 50 too at least?
Isn’t that technically what’s happening in Shadowlands? All raids are scaled to lvl 50? That would be amazing for people who have the sub without Shadowlands, like the Classic players. I don’t see them rebalancing the raids though.
You can’t just do some algorithm to take a raid boss’s, say, Cata numbers, and then multiply it by whatever our current levels are. That doesn’t mean you’ve actually achieved a boss fight with satisfying challenge.
If it were so easy to tune boss fights, we wouldn’t have Mythic encounters that get hotfixed as guilds are actively raiding the bosses, and it wouldn’t take weeks-to-months for many encounters to be properly tuned.
Many people. In fact, I’ve had a character doing all the quests and storylines with my XP locked at 70. I see lots of people going through Outland.
You have nearly 20 years of raids that nobody has a reason to touch, outside of mogs, achievements, and mounts.
You do not have to include mogs, achievements, or mounts, of course, before the morons begin setting fire to their keyboards to crucify me.
So what would be the reason to run these scaled up raids?
Purely for the joy of it?

I doubt it, since the fast leveling path is Northrend for both Horde and Alliance.
Not everyone plays the way you do, brosef.
I never said there’s an algorithm to run.
I never said to tune boss fights.
If it’s so difficult, why can FF14 do it?
This sounds like typical boot-licking.
Why would you run content if not for mogs or achievements or mounts? Isnt that the point of the game basically?
That’s how low the game has fallen tbh if that’s what people unironically believe
ur my vulpera now
Not everyone plays the way you do, brosef.
No, but most people do. Its why people came up with the “fastest 20-120” path. And why AzerothAutoPilot is a popular add-on.
Leveling is just a chore at this point with how fast it is made.
That’s great for those people.
Not everyone plays the way you do, brosef
The point of the game is to enjoy a story being told

Not everyone plays the way you do, brosef.
The majority of players don’t play the way you do, however. Which doesn’t make your way of playing wrong, of course, but one of your earlier posts suggested that your way of playing is the reason all people play.
I never said there’s an algorithm to run.
I never said to tune boss fights.
If you don’t want them to scale bosses up by some algorithm, then they have to scale each boss individually.
If they don’t tune boss fights, I’m not sure I understand how old raids are going to get scaled up?
If it’s so difficult, why can FF14 do it?
As I already said, WoW has dungeon scaling too. It’s been implemented since the whole zone scaling changes. And now you can party sync - so if you want to spam 60 dungeons, you sync with a player who’s 60.
That’s great for those people.
So, if thats the case. Why force scaling for old raids?

It’s called GEAR, and STATS.

FF14 already does this.
It works just fine, in fact, many max level players regularly do old dungeons, in LFG.
