my friend in guild got griefed a few days ago along with another hunter by a level 48 rogue in the barrens. rogue was hiding in a corner the moment they got into combat he unstealthed and pulled a bunch of mobs to them before vanishing. when they both die he unstealths and starts jumping on their bodies spamming lol. they both reported him to blizzard and they recieved an email stating that the player recieved a seven day ban. they checked to see if he was online and they didnt see him online. me being curious i checked to see if he was online and now he is 51 doing maraudon. so im only assuming they are just blocking players from seeing their griefers online.
Griefers are the best part of HC, get rekt nerd.

This is a lie. Blizzard does not report what actions they take to the people whom report the behavior. They simply send a message thanking the person for reporting and letting them know action has been taken.
If he was suspended he wouldnt be online. From everything I have seen, they dont have the capability to selectively censor who people see online.
This story feels like it is completely made up, because it is riddled with untruth and inconsistencies to what known actions and policies are.

This is how you know you were lied to. Blizzard NEVER tells you the details of another player’s punishment
