Blizzard is teaching us it’s ok to cheat. RMT, Fly hack, etc. not like they will do anything about it. I think we all should just fly around Azeroth so they “find” a way to police it. I’m sick of their excuses on the topic, it’s so cringe to hear them say, we banned x amount this week when it’s clear they missed the other 99% flying to strat.

you know that they are misrepresenting the truth big time when they say they banned 100K bots… I doubt there are 100K active accounts in Era, tho maybe there is. Thing is if they banned 100K accounts its likely to be mostly in Retail / Wrath and most of the bots are ironically in “Botanica”…
I am just estimating, but id wager there are 5000 ish bots in the Whitemane Era cluster. Clearing them out would take no more than a week, and keeping them cleared out would not be terribly hard.

But that’s not what they said…
There’s so many bots in some of the hyperspawn zones in retail (e.g. some of the WoD zones) that the entire zone lags out for anyone in it. There’s actually regions of the game that are almost unplayable because there’s so many bots running around it lags out the servers.

Blizz has always taught us this kind of stuff. They have always encouraged players to be toxic and habe encouraged us to go out of our way to be evil to each other. Kill quest givers, kill lowbie players. Kill auctioneers. Do anything to grief another player and yes we all know the sole purpose was to grief. Say whatever u want. It is griefing. But they encouraged it and allowed it and still do.
Yup, I was specifically saying that there are way less bots in Classic (either version) than there are in Retail. Is why in the past I have straight up told the idiots that thought Gold token would “remove bots”, to these people I told them they’re blind idiots.
Not talking about this recent post, but one from a few months ago where they claimed they banned 120K bots, across ERA and Wrath, thing is 4 or 5 months ago when they made this claim there were maybe 5000 total active accounts in Era and maybe 250K total active accounts in NA
This is why I feel like their alleged 120K claim is total BS because that would be like half the Wrath playerbase gone in a banwave.
Lets say this was across both NA and EU, so that’s still like 25% of the gross Wrath playerbase at that time…

If anything, they were BS’n the players and actually did ban 120K account globally, across not only Classic ERA, Wrath and Retail but also all other AVTI products. That to me is way more believable.

It’s neglect - there’s no teaching going on here.
Only thing to get their attention is sales up or down on the cash shop.
