Yep and they try to be inclusive by adding all of these real life reference. It’s pathetic honestly. We all know how their work culture is and what goes on at their offices. But sure Blizzard, try to act like you care. We know you really do.

can’t talk about anything without someone getting upset, and bringing politics into the conversation.
if we just talked about WoW, we’d probably all end-up spiralling around to how they’ve butchered the lore the past couple expansions.

and the less we talk about sylvanas and the tree-burning, the better…
if not that, we’d start arguing about the horde’s racials, faction-balance, etc, the list goes on.
plus, with this expansion being about us being at peace with eachother, a lot of the ‘spice’ of WoW isn’t here anymore. personally, i liked the war (from a story point of view), and the faction-loyalty was fun! without it, the overall plot’s a little… ‘meh’ to me right now.
…really missin garrosh and the ‘for the horde!’ attitude he used to bring-out in me…
On a lighter note it is kinda fun to make the wow lore super basic like that. Just for giggles. Like how we got zombies and demons from space because of a vampire lucifer in Revendreth
