Yea December is terrible timing. New raid content right before xmas break is not a good idea. It should be the first week on January

I don’t wanna change your mind though because you have no impact on what blizzard will do in regards to the schedule. I’m glad that blizzard is rushing naxx because that means tbc will come faster.

At least for my server its likely that the raid won’t open until after Xmas anyway. But yeah its rather fast, 4 mo release in between aq and naxx vs the 6 months between mc and bwl and bwl and aq.
Not only are they releasing Nax in December, but they’re also releasing the first raid tier for SL in December as well.
Blizz said they wouldn’t put out content releases during the holidays, and yet they’re doing exactly that.
Choosing between family and video games is a no brainer. But you shouldnt have to choose one or the other anyways

Honestly does it matter anymore, blizzard already rushed classic to meet neckbeard expectations, the game shoulda lasted 2 years. They also shoulda had tweaks to make the game better. Raiding isnt even the good part about classic its literally only the leveling everything else is brain dead boring even the ahn’qiraj event which apparently a terrible experience. Also they want money faster so they gonna release tbc and rush thru that too despite it being almost incompletable in 2 year back then. So they can get everyone back for retail. Or they might even stuff wotlk in there too even tho its basically retail.

yeah i want my TBC… TBC for me was the pinnacle of world of warcraft in terms of class diversity and unique class specs and polish for classes across the board. after TBC things started to become lets see whats the right wording… more convoluted.

Its really rough. Another nail in the coffin of small servers that were 6 weeks behind on AQ and now theyre tossing naxx right behind it. Gonna be rough
Why did we have BWL for 6 months but AQ for 3-4? Also the mat requirements for Naxx are insane, so a short window between tiers is going to be crippling.
I have to believe they are trying to prop up sub #s before the end of the year, but I really think this will be detrimental overall to Classic. Is what it is though I suppose.

Been there for months. Im more talking prot pots and all the mats required for tier. Not as easy to stockpile on small servers ahead of time
I also want TBC, but I kind of agree that this is too soon. Some servers have only had the gates open for a few weeks… I don’t think the phase needed to be shorter than the previous ones ON TOP of that delay in accessing the content.

This release date just killed my interest in Classic. It’s so sad. There’s just no way I’m going to push myself for Naxx when it comes out right after Shadowlands. New content > old.

Im going to be brutally honest and just speak my peace. I started in Vanilla feb 12th 2005 right after my honeymoon of getting married. I played all of vanilla moving forward, TBC, and wrath. Loved vanilla but TBC was the cherry on the top. I played wrath but i will be very honest it didn’t do it for me. Things started to become more convoluted with the classes and i felt it was when the game started changing in a direction that it took from it rather than adding real value. ( I still loved the barber shop though).
I love classic but the version i want to play and stay in is TBC. So to be honest classic for me has been just a big pre game for TBC. Now with the Naxx announcement i am one step closer to going home… The Burning Crusade

just wait until Black Temple is out before the end of 2021. then maybe you won’t see it this way. you’re excited they’re rushing to get to TBC? wait till they rush to get to WotLK.

Oh thats what i want. I dont give a crap about BC tbh. If i could skip it to get to wrath it would be a no brainer.
