Blizzard is jealous of classic

Kris Zierhut - “If our core value is [that] we want to get people into dungeons and go through content and play as much as they want, then OK we do want LFG”

Also Kris Zierhut - “The idea here is, if tanks and healers can get the consumables that they need to go to raid each week from going to dungeons, then they don’t need to go out in the world farming and there will be more tanks and healers in dungeon queues and everybody will have an easier time getting into a dungeon”

Literally 2 minutes apart…absolutely no consistency or reasoning. Do you want people to have an easier time getting into dungeons or not??

Lots of people in my guild are hyped for the Heroic and raid loot changes announced today. They’re also hyped for not having to mess around with Arena teams anymore.

Not every change has been bad. For a lot, A LOT of people, the game is going to be more enjoyable. If they went back on their RDF decision, I think people would actually recognize the other changes they’ve made that are actually good.

Not like there is a way to get arena gear from PVE. There was no reason to ever bother getting PVP gear if you hate PVP though.

I have one word for you whiners: SHADDUP

This is a mostly harmless change that keeps dungeons ‘somewhat’ useful throughout the expansion.

This is a good change that really doesnt affect your classic experience. Bunch of drama queens.

This is a good decision that will make dungeons more fun while not altering how higher end gear is obtained.

After ICC I want them to go back and add a heroic version of all the old raids starting at Molten Core and just update the gear stats/bonuses slightly etc… Make it 3ilvl above Heroic ICC and drag it out all the way up to Heroic Sunwell. Would give them a chance to add actual mechanics and such to old fights. Release them on a 3-4mo cycle.

Years of content.

Yeah, WotLK is a good expansion, but it certainly isn’t perfect.

If we don’t wanna cata+ we need to accept new content in WOTLK

Semantics. It’s as perfect as an expansion of WoW is ever going to be. In the sense that nothing is perfect yes obviously it is not perfect.

It’s going to be fine, lol people can be so dramatic. They are adding a catch up mechanic, it’s nothing like retail mythic +.

Sure it is, it’s the lazy way to keep dungeons relevant instead of making new ones, just like mythic+ in retail.

Sure as hell feels like it

No timer, no good gear, no Keystone. Just 1 single harder difficulty with previous tier gear. It’s not mythic+. Bad name calling is what it is.

This is a catch up mechanic, nothing like m+.

Blizzard choices are just being retarded as always.

Okay so it’s not mythic+ it’s just mythic dungeons.

Either way it’s still the lazy way to keep dungeons relevant.

Maybe, but whatever. It’s a catch up mechanic, will only be relevant to your alts.

Alts or anyone who missed getting the 10 man loot during the phase. We’ll see how they tune it i guess.

Yeah I guess. But what is important in my view is that it has nothing to do with the toxic mythic plus that retail has.

Duh, none of the OG developers/ceo who created warcraft, are even at the company anymore, so of course the retail devs have hate for classic, their CEO has hate for all the 1999-2009 blizzard products in general, he is a weirdo.

Mike Morhime built an amazing company that is being destroyed, all the OG wow developers like god rob pardo are looking at this and shaking their head.
