Blizzard is getting desperate

With the AH mount, housing, MTN dew, etc.

I’m not against housing, not as much anymore. But to me, adding housing seems like Blizzard’s trump card to save themselves. Let’s be honest: WE, as the players, CANNOT keep running m+, PVP, raids and delves every season. It’s getting old; it’s been old. Housing is a great card to pull here, but how long will that satisfy players? I don’t know how to feel about housing. I don’t know if I should feel disappointed or somewhat excited that I’ll have something new to do.

This season, I don’t even feel motivated at all. I want something fun that doesn’t make me want to reenact Liar’s Bar’s dangerous stunts (iykyk.) Perhaps this is a step in the right direction with housing, but how desperate is too desperate? If Blizzard really wants to make a change then it needs to start with gameplay such as m+.

Ever since Cataclysm there has been a chorus of doom’s day people in the forums crying about how WoW is DOOOOooooommmmmed. For almost all of this time WoW has remained the number one MMO on the planet.

So now they are trying to save themselves? From what?

Delves were just added. They’re kinda boring already, but blizzard will try to improve them.

blizzard just wants to milk wow, they dont care about quality or their players, they just keep going with things that they think will hype their addicted playerbase, they just want to keep milking it dry because they know the average wow player is truly something else…kind of player that will buy anything and play any crap company releases, nintendo fans are no match for them now.
but on the other hand, new players are repelled, so they also know they cant milk it forever, they’re going hard and thats why yall are complaining about buggy patches or the fact wc1 and wc2 remakes are made it AI, and it crashes everytime you open it, quality 0, they just want to release new things for you to buy fast fast

Yeah sure. You are just doing what people have been doing for years and years. Randomly converting a current event story or announcement concerning the game and wringing drama conspiracy out of it,

It’s a sales gimmick marketing campaign that’s all. They’ve done for years. The first one going back I can’t even remember how long ago .

Besides if the game closes it closes . It’s a game we will live.

Company does anything to make more money or get more interest:

Wow they’re desperate/dying.

They were doing promotions and advertising even during peak subs.

That might be a you thing. Maybe take a break for a while and see if the game pulls you back in in the future.

Yep. It jsut more recently the doomsayers pick and choose the deaths.

Retail is dead. Or maybe some people like me went full classic. Holly still gets her numbers to pass up the chain. 1 sub many games.

classic side, this version is dying! or…SoD went back to cata for FL. Cata went to sod since why not. I pvp in cata non rated…I am not on logs.

And for some of us…we won’t be log numbers for a good while.

Nothing is logged in “vanilla” (I am not feeling semantics games today lol) during the month or more of leveling in fresh that fires up next week.
