Blizzard, I am Sorry

I recently watched Bellular’s video about what certain leadership at Blizzard said in a company meeting, and what has been going on and I’m shocked. I’ve generally been aware of issues and scandals within the company the last couple years, but now truly understanding some of the crap you guys working at Blizz are dealing with, just wanted to say I apologize for any flack I gave you on these forums about down times or bugs with respect to Dragonflight, and that I support you all wanting to be treated like the professional employees you are. No one should be subject to work under the conditions you all are and I would hope that we as the players can find ways to help support you against tyrannical leadership.

Edit: For anyone interested, check out Bellular’s latest video on his YT channel.

Not sure why, but I’m sorry too… just dropping it here.

You should not have done that.

PSA: In Bellular's Steam Game, The Pale Beyond, players must murder a pack of loyal dogs. Do not buy the game unless you want to kill dogs, because you will be forced to.

The return to work stuff is really sensationalized. Many companies are returning to office. Is it a great thing? Probably not, not for some for sure.

Should some things be remote. Probably. Should some things be done in office. Probably. But the whole reception to their announcement has been a strange one.

Glad someone is standing up for these checks notes poor middle class employees of a highly successful company that are being forced to return to a form of work that most people have dealt with their entire lives.

I don’t know, I gave out a steam award to a reviewer for warning me. I won’t even watch a movie if the dog dies. I’ll end up breaking my TV or something. Can’t handle it.

I don’t mind humans being killed, even if it’s kids. But don’t hurt dogs. So triggering.

I can’t let it bother me right now really, it will just ruin the game for me dwelling on it.
I do care though don’t assume that I don’t.

Bell doing the video obviously did what he wanted if you are posting about it though.

Why would you pay $15+ dollars for a first time developer game?

I am also sorry, I have not seen this video but now that I know about it, I will watch it and decide how to live my life, because clearly, streamers decide everything.

…Why not? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

He’s (or was) citing the source to back up his claims and/or opinion here. Like…

"Hey guys, i watched this video, and i feel this way, let me explain. And here’s the aforementioned video where i got all of this from. "

I don’t mind killing dogs because I want to eat them.

Mate, i’ve been killing dogs since Spyro 1.

Lots of dog murder in games that i’ve noticed though.

Because its never been a good idea to link the stream… its a distraction and takes away from the discussion. YMMV.

…Cept to use as a citiation, because if he didn’t, you might be asking for a citation like “What video/stream”. Plus it’s to cater to the people who don’t already know what their talking about and it might be a good starting off point.

Why would you pay $15 a month for a game that is made by a AAA company that feels like it is made by an indie studio?

I never played Spyro. Dog killing might be why.

If a dog dies, I will set fire to the whole video game, so I avoid it like the plague.

I won’t even watch 101 Dalmations because all it does is make me daydream about peeling the flesh slowly from Cruella DeVil’s bones.
