all the evidence you need is seen in the population imbalances on pvp servers. they are overwhelmingly horde leaning. if you are a serious pvper, you are most likely going to roll on a pvp server, if you roll on a pvp server, you are most likely going to choose the faction with the greater advantage, real or not. these aren’t great logical leaps. outside of data directly from blizzard, there’s no way to definitively prove anything, but we can look at the shadow in the data that is available to us.
No, you’re not. You’re just wrong. I won’t look up your claims for you. Derp.
No, I’m not. That’s patently obvious from “my posts.” Which, if you’d care to actually cite anything, you’d see.
I’m flagging you for this. This isn’t what I’m doing, and it’s insulting to me. I do not appreciate it, and it is offensive.
I am not making the claim, so there is no onus on me to prove anything. That’s not how the burden of proof works. In this case, I can say, “look it up,” and it works.
You will be waiting until everyone who wants the free Epics is done rep grinding.
And then the queues will be even longer for you because there are so few of us who actually want to PVP.
I don’t see how it’s fair. I just spent the last two WSG matches on my alliance character ending the game with 0 honor. Sure I may have gotten a couple landed kills, but if its true that there is a 20% decay on ranking, I will probably never see a high enough rank to purchase viable pvp gear to compete as an alliance player. It seems to me my only option as an alliance player is to gear BiS through raiding and dungeons and then attempt to fight, idk.
Perhaps at max level. Its why I’ve resorted to twinking. Both sides try their best to win the game and its actually quite fun. The queue times are solid too.
You should give it a try sometime if you are having doubts about pvp at 60.
It’s fair because we are only competing against our own faction and server for honor. Everyone on our own faction and server faces the same circumstances.
I think another issue that most people don’t admit to is the fact that the entire pvp ranking system is a cluster of confusion. I literally had to watch a 20min guide youtube about it because it’s not simple lol.
Why would anyone bother, if there initial reaction to pvp is the imbalance and overpowering numbers that horde brings to the game. It’s not racial abilities, it’s now the fact that most alliance players rather just not queue into something they’re not going to win.
Then you will continue to be completely ignorant and wrong while claiming to be highly intelligent. Im not your Google bot. Im not the one making up an unreasonable claim. YOU are. Want to refute what i said? Then put up or shut up, troll.
I can see quite clearly. You’re both far less intelligent than you think you are or hillariously claim to be.
You must do real well in the real world. Dont want to be called a disruptive and annoying troll?
Its really simple…
DONT BE ONE. Which you are. Your posts are textbook trolling.
In addition to having almost zero ability to read, you’ve also apparently never taken a single debate class.
The way “burden of proof” works is - the person making the outlandish claim, or taking the position against the generally accepted norm has to provide the proof. Thats the burden of proof.
Im not making an outlandish claim (anyone who has ever followed ANY of Blizzard’s cheating or ToS news over the last 15 years is aware that people have been punished and not had their supposed ill gotten gains rolled back). Nor am I making a claim against the generally accepted norm.
YOU ARE.
The burden of proof is on YOU, trollheim.
No, im not, and you doing the forum equivalent of “NAHNAHNAHNAH I DONT HEAR YOU” and just stating that YOU ARE CORRECT NO MATTER WHAT isn’t actualy making you right.
I only say that because I play both retail and classic daily back and forth from both versions of the game. I enjoy both in different ways.
My goal is to enjoy pvp, not calculate honor and ranking, then a 20% decay, thn figure in a ceiling cap of possible points or whatever, etc just to learn how I can potentially purchase pvp gear. My argument is that, it’s easy. I as alliance just wont queue bg’s Ill go do pve content for my gear and bis and then if pvp happens in the world, great. Meanwhile, enjoy the long bg queue times cause there is no way anybody in alliance is considering joining into the bloodbath that are bg’s lol
Ok, so in your good faith estimation ( i understand it wasn’t you making the claim) do you think it is “Premades” fault that pugs don’t always face off against other pugs?
I mean, if you stop to consider the nature of WSG, it requires groups that coordinate and work together to take objectives. That’s just something Alliance pugs are notoriously bad at. So it kind of makes sense that horde pugs will see alot of premades if thats the majority of what is in the Q for the BG.
Just to be clear here, you seem to have absolutely no understanding of how the PvP system works in Classic.
Its no different for 90% of the Horde.
Its a PYRAMIDAL SYSTEM.
There can only be a certain % of the population at each rank. No matter what.
80+% of the people PvPing are NEVER going to get enough rank to buy PvP gear.
Thats not a bug, thats a feature.
I laugh at my fellow hordies all the time for so many of them desperately trying to “rank” when they are NEVER going to get there.
Unless you could afford to spend 6+ hours a day, YOU were NEVER going to get to a high enough rank to get worthwhile PvP gear (for a lot of classes, the blue gear is awful compared to even dungeon blues, much less raid gear).
Well, Horde PuGs are going to face a higher percentage of premades simply because if there are 3x as many Horde queueing (almsot all PuGS, though since you can join as a premade, there is usually one or two going on any given night on most servers, i’d imagine), and Alliance rankers have swapped to WSG, you’re going to queue into a lot more premades than you are PuGs.
If there are say, 10 ally teams queueing (for simple math), and 6 are premades, and 4 are PuGs, but 30 Horde teams are queueing, the math is just going to work out that Horde are going to run into premades more. It doesn’t help that a lot of Ally premades are assuredly queue dodging so they dont face the Horde premades if they can help it.
