But not give Zandalari warlocks… what a joke… these rodents literally run around in a dirty dessert and live in holes in the ground but they can access arcane and Fel magic???
Even in classic the echo isles is described to be infested with Zalazane and his warlock followers… the original quest text calls them warlocks literally.
Im sorry man im just so frustrated… i leveled up my warlock waiting for Zandalari to be my main then blizzard just pulls this swap… and they hand it to these filthy little gold hoarding creatures.
I think it was Blizzard thinking that Light based trolls would be a cool counter to the Dark themed regular trolls… so Zandalari don’t get Warlocks because that’s the dark magic class.
What I don’t get is this disease that is the monks. How do so many races have them? The veil only fell like five years ago, yet every race bar three have access to monks! Even Zandalari!
But yeah vulpera warlocks is odd. Mages I think I can buy, but warlocks?
Light doesn’t equate to Good. The Zandalari do have a greater focus on the Light compared to other troll tribes, from many priests to prelates using the Light. Talanji herself originally used the Light before her Loa died.
I guess the Lightforged were just “too new” to have monks?
I mean the Nightborne dome only fell like a year before that, so I’m not sure how new is too new.
That, or Blizzard felt Lightforged would be too entrenched in whatever profession they had before they arrived at Azeroth to switch to monk now.
I agree with you, I’m saying I think that was Blizzards thought process on Zandalari Warlocks. I personally think Zandalari Warlocks make far more sense than Vulpera.
