its not an update for them its the shadowlands undead blood elf eyes
Ok, canât find anything, so the only place where I can look at trying to find where race is defined is off WoWPedia, which is stated as: Races or species are terms used in World of Warcraft to split various unique creatures into separate groups. Numerous races populate Azeroth including elves, trolls, human, orcs, gnomes, scorpids and murlocs, among many others.
Which means, Blood Elves, Void Elves, Nightborne, Night Elves, High Elves, etc. Are all the same race.
EDIT: Found this on the same page on WoWPedia:
In World of Warcraft , Blizzard interchanges the terms species and race, giving them roughly the same meaning. with a source going to the Warcraft Encyclopedia, which means, it is correct. Elves are the race. Not High Elves or Blood Elves. Elves.
we will be meeting multiple people who have died in the game on both horde and alliance side they will all look like they are dead,
That wasnât said. What was said though was that blood elves wonât be getting blue eyes. The DK look is different from those blue eyes, and while it could be, updating the current npcs is going to include high elves.
oh i mean that makes sense actually.
Excuse me? unlike Vulpera women, I do not have hairy legs. We nightelves take pride in our appearance and hygene, we just donât reach a level of obsessive arrogance like the highborn once did.
Which is kind of my belief. I tend to keep things as broad as possible. But the race is elf, imo. and then you get sub-races or whatever when things start getting more divided.
high elves have a compleatly different model though so it wont be anything to do with high elves
No they arenât, they are just the blood elf model with blue eyes in game. They donât even have different hairstyles.
I think only the term of sub-races are used in the RPG, which is non-canon.
I donât know, all I do know is that âgroupsâ have been used a lot.
that seems pretty lazy but ill believe you
if they donât give me undead elfs or ogres as well then yes i am negatively affected
I was using sub-race just as a description. Itâs more of just how I view things not as an actual descriptor.
well like i said earlier theres currently in the game 3 groups of vulpera, wish somone would update the online references for this but you can hear mentiion of the vulpera pirates many times and you can find the slums vulpera who left the dunes for the city instead and are treated like common scavengers and pests so thats how they live.
but then theres the main group of vulpera we play as but they are all the same race just different groups
Nice try, but this type of thread isnât going to do the trick.
I donât think the Alliance will ever get high elves because theyâre currently on Horde.
yea i mean thats a good point to. they are lol especially if they just use the same models for both
I was actually hoping for Ogres on the Horde since TBC. I still wish Horde got Ogres.
I only know the Volâdun Vulpera. Honestly, never really got into the Vulpera as much. Honestly, not a much of a fan of Vulpera, Worgen and Pandaren.
Blood Elves are on Horde. Blood Elves do not consider themselves as High Elves. Even Kaelâthas proclaimed Blood Elves as âno longer High Elvesâ in the rise of the Blood Elves.
ive been trying to find out more about them the online sources arnt finished yet and the in game references and stuff are so hard to find that i havnt been able to get an exact info sheet so to speak.
i think i also need to play alliance to see the slums vulpera in full because they apear in an alliance area in kul tiras
This argument has been used plenty of times. Doesnât work. Blood elves are high elves with different names. You canât just change your race because of political motivesâŚ
