She is the most iconic member of the horde and for her to say the horde is nothing after all she did for it makes no sense.
I am just disappointed you couldn’t have made Anduin the big bad of the expansion instead.

i thought the most iconic was the human raised green jesus that saved azeroth a couple times and has tried to lift the horde into a civilized era… but i guess i must be playing a different game.

She’s done nothing for the Horde but cause issues.
Anduin wouldn’t have been, but Greymane should have been the big bad.
Sylvanas should not ever come back. She’s burned too many bridges and caused too many problems for too long.

I’ve played Horde for like 6 years…
I mean no offense to the person who voiced her… but if I never hear that voice again for the rest of my time in WoW I’ll be happier.
Every line she spoke made me cringe because I never once believed it, sounded too fake and put on, like a Saturday morning cartoon when everything around her was so gruff and serious and believable.

Sylvanas has never been for the Horde. At best you could argue she cared somewhat for the Forsaken, but she’s always been about herself more than anything else.
She’s done more damage to the Horde than the Alliance probably ever will.

alliance are the main characters of this game
they might trick you, playing the victim card, but don’t be confused, Blizzard would never do anything to make the alliance look bad, in the past they were more interesting, but now its just generic nice guys
while horde are the dumb guys killing each other and only surviving thanks to the alliance
Any meaningful examples of things she’s done for the Horde that weren’t for her own personal benefit for when she ultimately offs everyone on both factions?
She could have been a good morally grey character.
But Arthas died and she did not get revenge so her original character arc pretty much dried up.
And it’s just so easy to villain bat her after that.

To be fair we never do anything that makes us look bad partially because we rarely ever get to do anything without first having been invited to the event by the Horde.
and when we’re not just reacting to what the Horde does, our 1 play is “Tyrande or Genn go rogue and pick a fight with somebody”.

Well Sylvanas has been a major player since WC3 so she is iconic, maybe not the most iconic but still very iconic none the less.
And she is the biggest reason the Blood Elves were accepted into the Horde.
But she hasn’t really done anything else for the Horde that hasn’t been for herself or the Forsaken that helps herself
But what my problem is that there was a lot of nuances that she did still care for other people.
Like when she helped the Blood Elves, when she killed herself and saw a vision of Garrosh using the Forsaken as fodder if she died or when Vereesa apologized to her and it stopped her from killing her sisters.
Hell there was even the time she almost killed Vereesa so that she could rule the Forsaken along side her and she was so hurt that Vereesa betrayed her.
But all of that was thrown out this expansion to just make her evil and selfish.
But I still hope I can trust Blizzard that they’ll do something to redeem her character and not just make her just the next villain we stop. She especially better not get killed off at the end of a zone like Garrosh, she deserves better.

Summary
It looks like Anduin and Alleria Windrunner could go evil. Alleria is torturing people and Anduin was fine with it plus he is starting to use the shadow.
