Wanted: “Hogger”

By their logic, if Cataclysm ended with fighting a Dragon, then Dragonflight should end with fighting a Cataclysm. Final raid could be Cata Soul, or something.

But the dragon was the cataclysm. I figured it will be either Wrathion or Sabellion throwing a temper tantrum over not being made flight leader.

Pretty sure it’ll be zombie Galakkrond or something.

Please say the players. Please say the players. Please say the players.

Nah.

We want Gamon to be the final boss.

In all his rage, after grinding so many Keys for Wrathion to become aspect, only for Sabellian to be chosen, in anger, he takes Frostmourne and Slays Sabellian, then raises him as the Undead Aspect of the Black Dragonflight.

After the battle, in his extreme hunger, after farming the stupid black cloud serpent mount from the Sha of Anger for years and never getting it, only for it to be handed to anyone with an evoker in week 1 of release, he eats the remaining marrow of Garrosh’s bones and gains the powers of the Sha that Garrosh had.

While trying to visit Chromie to reverse it, he ends up in the alternate timeline with Chromie and the Infinite Dragonflight in Nya’Lotha, stubs his toe on Xalatath, and get’s consumed by Xalatath.

N’Zoth, using Xalatath, then rebuilds the body of Gamon, and houses his own conscience within.

Then he proceeds to go to all other old gods, and put them in Xalatath as well, in an attempt to become an all powerful singular being controlled by all old gods.

Then he goes to shadowlands, and kills the arbiter again, because he needs souls in the maw, to get the anima required for his new weapon.

Ragnaros is back. For reasons. But is swiftly killed and used as a forge to melt down sulfuras, kiljaedens sword in tanaris, frostmourne and xalatath, into a new weapon. Kil’Sulfalatathmourne.

Also, he can’t be controlled by Nzoth, because in his subconcious, he was secretly communing with the Runecarver, to combine the helm of Domination with the Helm of Wills, to create the Helm of Willomination.

At this point, Gamon is accidentally released from Xalatath due to it being melted down and manages to take the weapon. He slays the old gods that were inside of Xalatath, as well as NZoth.

During the process, he got some of azeroth’s dna in him, slays Brann Bronzebeard for spamming “to heal her wounds”, and becomes the new Speaker of Azeroth.

Azeroth’s base programming for self sustainment kicks in and deems all life on azeroth to be a threat.

So Gamon begins killing, all life on Azeroth.

And that’s where you come in…

I can see it now. Hogger fueled by the souls of the Old Gods eats the horde and alliance leaders alive… the whole raid the players just hear screams, bones cracking and flesh tearing.

As the doors to the final fight open… it’s just Hogger chewing on Jaina’s arm long since detached from her body. Jaina light headed from blood loss is just screaming… “He made me watch!!! HE MADE ME WATCH!!!”

i say its might be Galakrond due to the titan that walk around the area is gone
and we have decay magic so zombie Galakrond

They need to go full hearthstone and make it RAFAAM SUPREME ARCHEOLOGIST riding Galakkrond. End it just like the year of the dragon ended.

No, no. The final boss will be Hogger and Gamon will come to save us.

Or…

Maybe Gamon will be the final boss and Hogger will come to save us?

I have a suspicion we will see Hogger at some point. I find it interesting that at the end of the brackenhide hollow dungeon the decay mage, a power typically associated with necromancy, teleports away. We are definitely going to see her again, and I suspect she will raise hogger from the dead.

It should be Chromie.

There’s not a more destructive force to the game than her ret con’ing time traveling nonsense.

Chromie, or…Dark Chromie?

By which, of course, I mean Eternus.

The scary thing about gnolls is they are only kept in check because they can’t unify. The one leader they had that brought the tribes together nearly beat Stormwind. His death and the infighting that followed is the only reason it stands today. Her getting away is a very bad thing because the gnolls listen to her.

Fool, Hogger doesn’t rise from the dead, it is death itself. A supreme being that is unkillable.
