Blizzard, for SoD, add built-in system for viewing and tracking parses

Warcraft logs is a godsend because it’s the only way to measure pugs performance on classic as there are no other rating, achievement, or number systems within the game

SoD is the perfect place to add this functionality in the game directly, so that we don’t have to use a 3rd party site. We can target a player or their name in chat and right click → “View Raid Logs”. Also added bonus of tying all characters on an account together so we can see their alts or mains.

I just know that Warcraft logs is popular amongst the classic community (retail as well) so might as well start experimenting with adding that in-game directly, SoD is the perfect place since it’s a blend of retail and classic players.

Didnt you literally just make a anti-WCL post.

If you are gonna stir the pot with pilar opposite views, at least space them out

No? My other thread is anti-world buffs, I’m all for getting good parses. Relying on world buffs and some of which are only available temporarily isn’t really fun. Makes only certain runs able to truly be parse runs.

You can parse every run now with how DMF is setup. Only problem is Ashenvale buff not being boonable. That encourages raid logging to keep full buffs, which goes against the thought process behind the boon. Needs to be fixed.

Take my thumbs down response.

They should put that consumable on a vendor and sell it for gold and WSG marks.

Why? Everyone uses Warcraft logs anyway, let’s cut out the middle man

You have a lot of really really good ideas, what are you doing here on the forums?

I am hoping blizzard notices the passion and good ideas I have for the game and promote me to community council member

Hey, quick question for you. It’s completely off topic, though. What is your doctorate in?

someone as intelligent as you should already know, they use X

Blizzard creates games and not analyzing tools.
Warcraftlogs have been very popular since legion which is 6 years old and they haven’t done anything. Why do you think they should do it now for a game that requires at max 2 buttons

It would be cool if it was handled in game, since the logging is done in game.

I parsed 99 without ashenvale buff, it’s not needed.

That’s outstanding. Keep up the great job!

Nah, get rid of advanced combat logging and sink warcraftlogs.

WoW is a casual’s MMO. If you have to parse to feel relevant then you’re a bad gamer.

I don’t have to parse to feel relevant. It’s something to do, something to work towards. Gives a goal, instead of sit in town and cry about wsg. Playing your spec well helps you farm gold, learning to master your spec will have you soloing dungeons and sitting on a horde of gold.

What goal? To see who can cheese bosses more? It doesn’t measure performance and rewards selfish gameplay.

You are bowling with the bumpers up and feel relevant because you managed to not get a gutter ball. Good job

Now play an actual game requiring skill if you want something to test yourself with and work towards.

WoW was designed to be a casual’s MMO. The min/max parsing is just cringe af and got even more cringe with people trying to parse on level 25 content that’s even more casual.
