Our $15 a month has finally gone to good use! Blizzard has been watching our complaints about how bad pvp right now and they have answered! They will be removing portals so the world takes longer to get around in. #blessed #theylistened

Adding or taking away doesn’t matter, ppl would still complain about it here, it’s a lose/lose for blizzard if they actually do read what ppl post on the forums.

yeah people will generally complain about the addition or removal of something trivial while bigger issues remain unaddressed.

Yep thats all we wanted. Because who doesn’t love hiking simulator 2019? Hope it will take so much time to get from point A to B that we will even forget we wanted to queue for arena. Nvm I’d rather walk from shadowmoon valley to netherstorm without a mount than to queue that joke.

I’m not sure but I do see some comments on MMO that can go either way:

Like come on Blizzard, we’re losing more than we’re gaining with this update.
I understand that changes can throw people off a bit at first, but I also think they help keep the world of Azeroth feeling alive. When there are fewer portals, does the world feel a bit bigger to you? Do you like that? How difficult is it to get to the locations you mentioned without a direct portal (talking to everybody who isn’t a mage here)

I do agree that it makes the world feel bigger. It is undeniably less convenient though.
I agree, but how convenient should things be for everybody? Why do mages have portals? Should everybody just have the teleport abilities that mages have? I don’t think that’d feel right, heh.

In 8.2 they’re making it so mounts with WM on now have a 40 second cast time so that people can’t mount up and run away during PvP! Hoooray!

I’msaying the forum posters are crying that they are removing portals but none of them are saying anything about the portal hub. so for people who dont know it just looks like they are removing portals and that’s it

I swear to god it actually feels like nobody is in charge over there.

It’s as if 99% of the decisions they make are approved by less than 1% of the playerbase. And vice versa
