Getting a Memory error when launching the game - Actually the game launches fine, it’s when the loading screen happens it ends up either crashing during, or I get into the game and immediately freeze and then it crashes.

I’m getting the same - trying to launch my memory is being capped out. Tried multiple toons in different locations, with and without addons and no dice.

Same thing. I go from 4GB of RAM to being used to 16GB of RAM being used and I have disabled ALL Add ons. Go Blizz Go!

Crazy, man. They can’t fix one thing without breaking 10 others. What a sad state of the game. 32 GB of ram isn’t enough? dead

Getting a similar memory error here.

I tried restarting. The error hasn’t happened again (edit: it did eventually error out), but the game won’t complete loading.

It’s stuck loading at about 80% and the program is “Not responding”.

I’ve never had a problem like this before. It’s not my system, it’s today’s update.

Same here, was fine before the reset. Now its complete cooked.

Having the same issue. Tried deleting all the addons. Renamed the Interface, WTF and Cache folders with “Old” at the end. Nothing worked.

Hopefully they are aware and working on it by now.

I had the same issue but after about 2 minutes it loaded in, however all skills, bags, items, and gold from the account were missing. hope it comes back…

I’m able to log in but I have 0 inventory or gold. No bags, no mounts, no pets or toys, no gear, nothing. Cool.

How much ram do you have, and can you open task manager and let us know how much RAM wow is currently using on your end? Guessing you have 64 GB since the game is currently asking for ~ 40 GB

No blizzard post is actually wild considering no one can play the game. This doesn’t affect just a handful of people.

I have 64 but game is asking for 65 it seems lol i got one of my toon connected but no items, no gear, no gold, nothing

I can get into the game, I expect because I happened to log in the middle of nowhere in Outland with no one around, but the game is using 97% of my system’s memory when it’s normally around 25%. I’ve also got no bags, loot, gear, etc. etc…

Is Blizz even going to acknowledge how badly they effed this up?
