Blizzard effects too slow to take effect!

There isn’t a single instance of his blizzard not working in this barely watchable video.

Slow down the video if you’re having trouble identifying the fact that some Blizzard ticks are not slowing the mobs despite damaging them.

Here’s another one, make it really slow so you can see it dude:

Nope, I don’t see it. I see the slow effect wearing off of a mob after it’s left the blizzard and the mage is still casting it. That is normal. The problem I am talking about is that 40 enemy players are able to ride through a blizzard without getting hit. If you want to disprove it, post a video of 40 enemy players riding through a Blizzard spell in 2006. You won’t be able to, because in Vanilla and every expansion up until Legion (I can’t speak for BFA because I never played it) you can absolutely slow mounted enemy players with improved Blizzard.

You made the claim that it’s bugged. The onus is on you to provide the Vanilla video of Blizzard snaring 40 players on the initial tick.

Slow that video down as slow as possible. Look at the initial damage tick (the yellow number means damage) and then pause the video, so you can take your time examining the mobs for the dark blue color they turn when they’re snared by Blizzard.

Maybe try this timestamp, it might be easier for you:

Those aren’t mounted enemy players and so your video is pointless in this thread. However, I’m watching it anyway and the mobs are slowed on the first successful blizzard tick. If you try doing this in the game today, the mobs will be running toward you at full speed before that first tick slows them and you will be at low health before your first blizzard is even finished, possibly even dead. Hence, you have actually proved me right with your video.

No they aren’t. The first tick of damage pops up, the mobs are not snared until the 2nd damage tick.

The mobs turn blue on the second tick but they were snared on the first. The damage went off on the first tick. The mobs are immediately snared when damaged. This is masked in your video by the fact that he did a frost nova first. In Classic, the first tick doesn’t even do any damage, therefore it does not snare anyone. If you try AOE farming in Classic as a mage, you will understand. Borrow an account from someone or roll a mage and try it. You will probably be dead before your first Blizzard is finished channeling. You’re grasping for straws here because you’re trolling.
