Blizzard doesn’t care about you, they only care about their quarter 2 profit numbers.
That’s the only reason Blizzard is releasing TBC when they are. They are releasing it early for money.
Not because they care about you, or their player base.

TBC comes with the sub. Boosts, clones, deluxe editions, everything else, all optional. Just a reminder.

Yeah but that doesn’t change the fact that they are currently screwing over their current player base, by not listening to their customers and releasing the game early so they can prop up their quarter 2 numbers. Blizzard never cared about you, don’t let anyone tell you differently.

Blizzard is getting heat for both releasing too early and too late on the same franchise. Must be tough dealing with this.

Yes but by releasing TBC early they are artificially increasing their short term profit (and Quarter 2 numbers), because more people will come back to the game and re-sub for TBC release.

I’ve tried to be cautiously optimistic about TBC (even though I was never really excited because it’s not my favorite) but all these overpriced cash grabs and the game being pretty buggy (after I played Beta and I do know it’s a few versions off but the bugs were really bad), even the arena changes and stuff I don’t know now. We’ll see but I’ve got a bad feeling.

I don’t expect a company to care about me, I expect them to make good decisions. Not short-sighted and greedy decisions.

It’s a “damned if you do or don’t” lmao. Blizzard is garbage but there’s no winning the community here. I will say that I didn’t expect prepatch in 2 weeks, the leak had me thinking June 1st but eh I ain’t sweating it. You got TBC too early, you got 9.1 too late, LOL

Crépuscule if your can’t figure out why this release of TBC is too early, I assume you aren’t currently playing the live version of wow classic, which is more than likely accurate

I actually just recently restarted playing before the date was announced. I still don’t see the issue.
Do you have any idea how many games have failed due to poor quality control and releasing too early due to some earnings report or holiday?

The expansion is almost 20 years old lmao, that’s not the issue here. The issue is everyone’s mad because it isn’t enough time to level the belf and goats, at leasts that’s what the majority of topics are saying.

This is the issue, you don’t actively play wow classic, and haven’t for 6 months or maybe more than 1 year, how could you have any idea of the current state of the game if you aren’t even playing the game?
