Blizzard Demon Hunter's need a Developer

Dear Blizzard,

Demon Hunters need developers that love to play Demon hunters as main character to work on their talents, specs, covenant powers, etc.

Not sure if you are reading the feedback around the web on how nerfed and crappy Demon Hunters will be in the Expansion and is not fair.

The new talents modifications are made by someone that never loved the class and is raining poop over it as much as they can…

We are getting the haste nerfed…
We are getting less time in Meta…
We are getting screwed in AOE… (one of the most fun things about a DH was to be able to do massive dmg as good as Mages and other classes… top 5 adds now is sacrilege…)
We are getting weaker defensives and leech…
All CORE things that made a Demon Hunter Great, are going out of the window for the Chicken p00p new build… only a few new things are ok, but the basic things… Are a Sinful…

Please make sure you fire the traitor developers working on Demon Hunters as they are making sure, people will stop having fun with the class and make them as crappy as they can… Demon Hunters need no more enemies now with Vindictive Developers raining manure all over the DH Talents and classes… (maybe not fire, but some demonic Torture, or reduce their perks at the office)

I understand that change refreshes the class but well, DHs are being shot first to the knees…

It also looks like Ion Hazzikostas has not been overseeing the devs working on DHs.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe 90% of the work Ion Hazzikostas is doing is great, and at least he is going back on the Conduits so they won’t get destroyed when replaced(lets hope we get saved pre-set builds for the different trees so we can change them fast on demand. Lets also hope they don’t make it impossible to experience the different covenants with the same toon and easy fast to swap.

Well, I hope they do something about this and DHs get people with love in their Hearts for this class and not paper pushers just puking random useless talents.

Please, this is an observation, no need haters on this post, if you don’t feel this is right, don’t bother messing around. If you answer to the post, playa, you are a Fan

Welcome to how Shamans feel most expansions

I wonder if they think a starter class needs a developer on the helm. With the lack of ability interaction and meaningful depth to the rotation I think they consider DH a starter class and maybe think it’s not important to make it fun/interesting. Simple is enough, it seems.

I also play Shadow Priest, and I’m crying instead :sob:

I play rogue and DH.
Rogue still doesn’t even have all of its talents and a covenant ability was deleted.
DH is looking like a dumpster fire.

Shadowlands looks great for me…

I mean I don’t disagree but it’s definitely not just DH, that’s true for most classes I’d say.

Just look at priests for example, in this case is not only loosing stuff but also the few “new” things (Devouring Plague for Shadow, Light’s caress for Disc) are just completely off and make no sense for what the spec does and what it needs.

I don’t think they have a dedicated dev for each class, in a recent interview someone talked a bit about the class design team, this is the first time I’ve seen them giving some insight about how things work internally, it was mostly just saying it’s the same team that works on soulbind powers and covenant abilities so they were focusing on getting that out first.

Without knowing much about it we can’t really tell but it did sound like they had fairly limited resources assigned to the class design team and A LOT on their plate.

That seems really counterproductive for an mmo, considering playing your class is the only aspect that repeats itself over any content you do while playing the game. One would think making it fun/balanced would be a top priority.

That’s what happens when you fire a crapton of staff in the name of “cutting costs” even as your company rakes in record profits.

Each class needs a dedicated dev, or at least one dev per two classes.

Yeah, I agree, it should be a top priority to have the class design team with enough resources and someone as the main person “in charge” for every class that plays and understands that class in depth…

I mean I can’t tell for sure that’s not the case, we really have very little knowledge on how things work internally, but looking at some of the stuff it certainly doesn’t look like it is.

this expansion, it is really, really obvious that mages and paladins have developers that play those classes, for example, and definitely not us

I have the same 2 mains (but in reverse). Yeah, I’m starting to regret having preordered SL. Classes look like bleepity bleep bleepin crap right now.

Indeed, many classes have been nerfed beyond their class identities. And it all comes down to developers being Bias towards the classes they play. Demon Hunters is a living proof of that in Shadowlands.

Let’s hope they fix crap.
